22.01.2022 At The Foot & Ankle Specialists, the health & safety of our staff & patients is our main priority. We are aware that the majority of our patients fall into the older age group & are at a greatest risk of getting complications if they get COVID-19. Therefore we ask all patients to please reschedule your appointment if you have had a fever, cough, sore throat or shortness of breath or if you have had contact with a diagnosed case. If you or someone in your household has been te...sted for COVID-19 & are awaiting your results we ask that you reschedule your appointment as well. If you have travelled overseas in the past two weeks please follow the official government regulations. Hand sanitiser will be provided within our practice for everyone to use during this time. In addition our staff have been asked not to come to work if they exhibit these symptoms. We understand this may be an inconvenience and we will work with all our patients to minimize this. With children, their bones don’t fuse together until puberty. There are some foot and leg conditions that may then present with pain or kids not keeping up with their friends . Gait analysis, correct shoe fittings and ongoing monitoring are some of the ways that podiatric care can positively change the lives of kids ....
