21.01.2022 Great Day at the Football Queensland Under 12 Boys SAP State Carnvial. Played 2 games today and we have 3 tomorrow... Game 1 was Lions v Gold Coast Knights.... We won 1-0, the boys played strong defendes hard and I was lucky to get one in the back of the net! Game 2 was Lions v Olympic FC. We lost 0-1, but again we did so well as a team to hold them back but they were lucky enough to get 1 in. Game 3 was Lions v Penninsular Power. We drew with them after a tough battle of them leading 1-0 for a bit, but then came back with an epic goal from my team mate Fin. Game 4 was Lions v Rochdale Rovers. We lost 0-1, but these boys are always a strong team and they managed to sneak one in the goal. Game 5 was Lions v Caloundra FC. We won against Caloundra with a brilliant goal from my team mate Ethan. They play hard, but we played harder! Brilliant Weekend with the boys! Go Lions

10.01.2022 What a cracker of a week! Today the team made the Semi finals and played against South Coast White. Both teams played well and the boys came out on top with a 9-2 win leading them into the Final. The Final was held and they played South Coast Black! My gosh what a final! They held strong in the 1st half and it was 0-0 then South Coast snuck one in and it got to the boys a little but they kept pushing and then right on the buzzer another one went in and they lost 2-0. ... We are all immensely proud of these boys, especially because this team of amazing lads have never played as a team before but they all worked so well, complimenting one another’s game and it showed by seeing them make it to the finals! 01.01.2022 AFA QLD National Futsal Championships 2021 And that’s a wrap for our boys! Finished 3rd out of 14 teams!... Absolutely top effort from our boys! To say we are proud would be an understatement. Called up to represent U12s for QLD City is an achievement in itself. Then to head into the competition and hold their own, taking 5 wins out of 6 games played. They headed into the quester finals and played a tough game against NNSW Blue but took the which leads them into the semi finals against ACT White. ACT white were a strong, skilled team and played so well taking the win over our boys which saw the end of the tournament for the QLD City boys. What a week we had!
