24.01.2022 The vibrant Maasai Market in Nairobi, a true festival of colour and form, offers an opportunity for handicraft shoppers to buy some of the rich collection of African arts and crafts at reasonably low prices. It is an open air market that attracts throngs of locals and tourists alike looking for unique handicrafts to adorn their homes, themselves or as gifts to friends and family. Colorful kikoys, curios, baskets, beadworks and many other interesting African handicrafts all vie for the customers’ eye, with over a hundred traders doing their best to entice you. After making their selections, buyers will often be seen bargaining for a discount, a practice that is standard and expected here.

17.01.2022 Mt Longonot is a young volcano rising to 2,776 metres above sea level. The sides of the mountain have beautiful V-shaped valleys and ridges. The stony soils have little vegetation but the crater has an impenetrable forest. Due to the nature of the terrain Mount Longonot has no roads and visitors hike to the top and rim of the crater. Major attractions - Extinct volcano and crater forest, scenic landscape, beautiful views of Lake Naivasha and the Great Rift Valley.... Absolutely one of the finest places Footprint In Africa Tours could take you.

It’s estimated the area has a bird list of over 350 species. This is certainly a good place worth a stop to marvel at these beautiful species of birds, welcome to the home of flamingos!
