24.01.2022 While the children of Treasure House Children's Home Fiji are away at camp, we have been busy packing some school materials needed for 2020. We hope these items make the new year a little easier.
22.01.2022 Here are some of the gorgeous children of the Treasure House Christian Children's Home in Fiji. Treasure House is home to beautiful children sadly orphaned through tragic circumstances such as desertion, neglect, abuse, and poverty. With very little government funding, the home relies on the support of donors to assist in the welfare of the children. As the school year is due to wrap up, many of us are thinking of holidays and planning outings for our families, something that is a luxury to many others who simply can't afford it. We are very pleased we are able to leave our very first footprint in the hearts of the children at Treasure House by funding a 7 day camp in Fiji for 18 children. We hope that the camp is a memory they will treasure forever.
18.01.2022 Did you know that Papua New Guinea currently has the lowest levels of literacy in the South Pacific? This week, working with @bukbilongpikinini we made a footprint in the lives of the children at Port Moresby’s Hope for Poor Kids Orphanage by funding 250 books to fill their empty bookshelf. #footprintsofkindness
12.01.2022 Meet our newest sponsor child, 6 month old Maria from Denpasar. She was brought to Jodie O’Shea House orphanage Bali after her mother passed away and her father could not afford to raise her. Her little face has captured our hearts and we look forward to leaving a footprint in her life @caring_for_kids_bali
07.01.2022 Meet our new sponsor child Endra from Bali. Endra's parents brought her to the Jodie O'Shea House Orphanage in June this year as they could no longer afford to support her. We are told she is a quiet girl and a little bit shy. I can't even imagine what a hard year it has been for Endra but we hope our support will lift her spirits. Our goal is to sponsor 10 children in the next 12 months.
04.01.2022 The gorgeous children of the Jodie O'Shea House Orphanage in Bali rely heavily on tourist donations for funding but due to Covid-19 tourists are unable to visit. The orphanage is now getting very low on funds for food for the 79 children that call it home. We are pleased we could help by providing funding for 2 weeks of food for them in this scary and uncertain time.
