21.01.2022 Round 3 was a tough round of Last one Standing. Anyone who chose Hull is through to round 4 but everyone else is out. Matt McLellan was the only casualty of round 2 but round 3 saw a whopping 11 people knocked out!!!!! A special mention to Jason Green and Alex Radcliffe who chose Sunderland against Kyles advice. 10 left going into round 4 to win $250

15.01.2022 Hi everyone, With cricket season now in full swing and we have full access to our new facilities, its a great time to be around the club on and off the field. We have a host functions and fundraising organised for this year so we’d like all of our United members, supporters, players (past and present) to get around the club and support however possible! Details of all Functions and Fundraising below. Firstly on Saturday 19th of December we’ll be having an iPod Shuffle night... as part of our Christmas break up. (Flyer attached) We also have a chocolate fundraiser at the moment, if you can off load a box or 2. that’d be great! we only have 9 boxes left! Tattslotto is back starting from Saturday November 29th and running 4 consecutive weeks and finishing on December 20th. For $20 choose a number between 1-45 and if that is one of two supplementary numbers drawn you win $75! You keep that number for the whole 4 draws and you could potentially walk away with $300! We will be running another one in the new year also! We potentially have a Bunnings BBQ fundraiser on Sunday 27th December at West Footscray, but it’s not confirmed as yet! Well let you all know with details ASAP once we get confirmation. This is also huge fundraiser for the club. We had 2 BBQs booked earlier this year, but we were canceled because of COVID! Again always looking for volunteers for this fundraiser! Last but not least, with COVID-19 putting our season in potential ruin?! it left us wondering if we were going to have our biggest fundraising event the Reserve Raffle! With restrictions easing and Victoria looking like getting back to normal?! I can confirm we will be having a RR function this season. It will be held on Saturday 13th Feb 2021 at the club. $50 per ticket and last ticket one drawn wins $2,000. Numbers 1-160 available. Let us ASAP if come to the club and put your name on the RR board to secure your number or please let me know what number you’d like if it’s available! Also buy 5 tickets and get one free!! 15.01.2022 Hi everyone, Just reminding you all that Cricket resumes this Saturday 9th Jan for all grades except the U/17s. Also due some drainage works from the council Scovell Reserve isn’t available for playing on. First XI will play away on Saturdays and the Second XI away on Sundays until the ground is available. Iain from the insurance world also didn't make it through with a last minute annual leave choice of Arsenal who drew with Leeds. Kyles master plan of going against his birthplace and backing Chelsea for the win means he joins Rob, Frank, Graham and Nicola in the 8 going in to round 5.

Training at Scovell Reserve will still go ahead at the usual time for those not participating in the match and want to train.
