13.01.2022 The Launceston Festival of Dance AGM will be held on Friday 26th February 2021 @7pm at the Iron Horse Bar & Grill Function Room, 468 Westbury Road, Prospect. We... are currently seeking new Committee Members who would like to be involved in one of the State’s biggest and busiest dancing competitions. Our goal is to have an even spread of representatives from each of our local Dance Schools. If you are a passionate dance person who would like to be part of a hard-working Committee, attend four or five meetings a year and commit to assisting throughout the year and season of the Launceston Festival of Dance, we invite you to join us at our meeting. This year the following positions will become vacant and will be for a two-year period; Vice-President Treasurer Assistant Secretary Public Officer Unfortunately, at this year’s AGM we will also need to add in a vacant (one year) position of Secretary, as Leah Carr has tendered her resignation due to family issues. I look forward to seeing as many current members and new interested parties on the 26th February. I am hopeful for many nominations for the various positions we have available. 02.01.2022 Dance brings people together. Through the tough times there is always dance. Over the last few months my loungeroom has been my dance hall. Zoom Classes have been a way to keep in touch with my amazing students who have been so resilient in adjusting to a new way of learning. But I am so excited to be back face to face with my dance family at the studio. Things may still be a little different for the moment, but we will celebrate the little wins....
