19.01.2022 Last year we had a visit from Trevor Evans MP (assistant Miinister for waste reduction and environmental management). A long fancy name for a bloke who was genuinely interested in hearing from a regional Garbologist. about what really goes on in the industry. Thanks to our local man Damian Drum MP we were able to sit at the table with someone who has the ear of our Prime Minister. ... We need positive change in our industry and we need it now. Businesses cannot continue to bear the costs of exorbitant landfill levies. We have no choice but to pass on the expensive levies imposed by the EPA and Victorian Government. It’s simply not fair to EVERY sector of our business community. It doesn’t ‘pass the pub test’. Especially during this COVID pandemic.

14.01.2022 We could not be prouder of how Shepparton has reacted to the COVID episode this week. Thousands tested and hundreds isolating. Awesome work people We’re missing our Office Angel Di who is doing the right thing and isolating after a negative test (looks like the 19th hole nabbed her as a casual contact) ... All our team are set up to work at home if needed so we’re able to keep her busy. To cheer her up we sent her a pic from the office so she could see how we are coping without her on phones. Proud of all our office team and how they managed this crazy week.

08.01.2022 BIN FILLING FAIL!!! Our frontlift truck would not be able to get close to this job to put the forks in the side of the bin. It would be UNSAFE for our driver to lift this bin because rubbish would fly everywhere and even break the truck windscreen. ... Please remember LIDS MUST BE CLOSED and there should BE NO RUBBISH IN FRONT OF BIN. We are Garbo’s not magicians!
