22.01.2022 HAPPY FOREVER HOME AND HAPPY BIRTHDAY IN YOUR NEW HOME Here are the beautiful sisters Maggie & Maisie ( formerly Millie & Frankie) living it up in their new home. These two beautiful ones were surrendered to a regional pound just after all the fires and were very frightened and their time was running out. Fortunately rescued, they then went into foster care. They have taken some months in foster care to give them the confidence and love they needed to take the next happy... step to their forever home. They now have more love given to them by Sarah & Graham and their dog sister Kelsey Once hiding from humans they now sleep on the bed Here is what Sarah said: They love to ambush each other in the tunnel I'm so thankful they have come into our lives. They are just perfect and made our home complete. We are so glad we adopted our two girls from friends of the pound. 18.01.2022 SHADY PRIVATE REHOMING Location: Banora Point "It is with great sadness I'm having to put my gorgeous boy, Shady, up for adoption. Shady is a large cross breed, de-sexed male dog. He has a lot of energy and requires a lot of exercise or a family with a large backyard or farm to keep him occupied.... He is a very intelligent, gentle, loving boy. He weighs over 40kg but he likes to think he is a chihuahua size and can be a lap dog. It is breaking my heart and I would like to see him go to someone I know personally and who would love him as much as I and the kids do." Any pet left in car will DIE within 6 MINUTES even if you have left the windows open. OFFENDERS can incur fines up to $550 and if the ANIMAL DIES offenders can incur a 6 month JAIL sentence and up to $22,500 in fines.... ANOTHER thing to think about, If you DRIVE with your PET UNRESTRAINED in the back of your Ute you can incur an immediate $500 fine on the spot. If the ANIMAL IS INJURED or DIES in an ACCIDENT, OFFENDERS can incur a 6 MONTH JAIL SENTENCE and up to $5,500 in fines. If you find yourself in a situation where you see a distressed animal in the car, please stay in attendance and call the police or the RSPCA Hotline.
