14.01.2022 Is anyone else sick of hearing men tell us, But it’s not ALL men!? There are good men out there... When so many women are suffering and dying at the hands of ...the not-so-good men, who cares how many ‘good men’ there are?! Where are all of these ‘good men’ when it comes to defending all of the women being beaten, raped, assaulted, ignored, dismissed, blamed, ridiculed, murdered?! Why does any man feel the need to constantly defend themselves? Stop defending yourself, you sound spineless and inadequate and you’re only making this worse. Men rally to defend themselves from accountability, women rally to defend themselves from violence and murder; why don’t more men join with women in defending women and their safety? Men, next time you see a woman victimised or having to defend herself for telling the truth, whether in person or on social media, how about instead of feeling the need to defend yourself as a ‘good man’, you join her, empower her and do your part in making this a safer world for our wives, daughters, mothers and sisters? Let’s put the shoe on the other foot and imagine how we would cope living a day in their lives, I know I couldn’t do it.
