08.01.2022 @chefsamanderson wasn’t the first chef in my life. My mum @sharon8391 1960-2020 loved to cook. As children we had the most amazing birthday cakes and we would come home from school to banana bread fresh from the oven, pancakes, caramel popcorn and so much more. Mum collected recipes tested and changed them for as long as I could remember. It wasn’t until she was 40yrs she decided to become a chef she got dux of the year getting 100% in every assessment. She quickly worked h...er way to head chef before moving towns to be with the love of her life. Later in her career she became passionate about making sweets and became a patisserie chef. Anyone that was fortunate to have one of her cakes was amazed by the love, details and taste that was put into it. We were lucky to have had her cakes and biscuits to sell at Forage on occasions. unfortunately her life was cut short by cancer before she could complete her dream of a cake business. She loved visiting our restaurant on the beach and trying Sams new dishes. An amazing woman I’m so incredibly proud of. Love you mama.............Forage will be closed until the 2nd of OCTOBER 2020.
