20.01.2022 Before we bid farewell to 2020, we would like to thank every one who supported us throughout this year ~ those who visited the gallery, purchased an artwork, ex...hibited work or donated to the Forbes Arts Society. A HUGE thank you also goes out to our incredible Gallery volunteers, who navigated 2020 with such poise and flexibility. We are entering 2021 with some really exciting things on the horizon, and we can't wait to share them with you "DEEP WITHIN" by Sharon Degeling, $80. Textile, oak frame, 32cm x 32cm.

16.01.2022 Yesterday we were honoured to host the Governor of New South Wales Her Excellency The Hon. Margaret Beazley AC QC made a special visit to Platypus Gallery where she was introduced to some of our original Art Society members, before heading out to Gum Swamp to meet ‘Varanus’ and learn more about the Sculpture Down the Lachlan trail.

The finalists and winners were announced at the Forbes Heritage Awards Evening held last night at the Platypus Gallery. ‘Ben Hall' by Wayne Miles, acrylic & enamel on plate glass.
