24.01.2022 SYDNEY AUTUMN CARNIVAL RESCHEDULED Racing NSW and Australian Turf Club have determined that all race meetings forming part of the Sydney Autumn Racing Carnival ...will be run seven days later than originally scheduled. This was necessary after the postponement of today’s Longines Golden Slipper meeting at Rosehill Gardens due to continued heavy rain and following a track inspection by Racing NSW Stewards this morning. The revised dates for the Sydney Autumn Carnival are as follows: Golden Slipper Day (Rosehill Gardens) - Saturday, 27 March 2021 Tancred Stakes Day (Rosehill Gardens) - Saturday, 3 April 2021 Day 1 The Star Championships (Royal Randwick) - Saturday, 10 April 2021 Day 2 The Championships (Royal Randwick) - Saturday, 17 April 2021 All Aged Stakes Day (Royal Randwick) - Saturday, 24 April 2021 The final field including the barriers for the Longines Golden Slipper Stakes will be carried forward to Saturday, 27 March 2021. Nominations for all other races from the Longines Golden Slipper day program to be run on 27 March 2021, will be reopened and acceptances taken at 9am on Wednesday, 24 March 2021. The race programs for the remaining race meetings will be unchanged. The postponement of the Golden Slipper meeting is unfortunate, but under the circumstances both the ATC and Racing NSW feel that resetting the Sydney Autumn Carnival one week later is the best overall option for participants and the flow of the Carnival," said Racing NSW Chief Executive, Mr Peter V’landys AM.

A lot of familiar names going around today but in the spirit of Ladies Day, we’re focusing on the Group 1 Coolmore Australia Classic, which sees Australia’s finest fillies & mares take to the track. Also got our eyes on Race 4, #4 Colette! She’s the red hot favourite & they reckon there’s nothing else worth backing. That’s what they said about Nature Strip last week... ... Hope all our favourite ladies get to have a drink & a flutter today! Happy racing!
