07.01.2022 We at Forbes Rugby are very sad to hear of the passing of Peter Veenstra, he had such a great passion for rugby and whilst not everyone agreed with his views we all knew it came from a place of wanting rugby to thrive in small and big communities alike. Anyone that took the time to know PV would quickly see his great loves were family, mateship and rugby the exact foundations our beloved game is built on. We pass on our sincere condolences to PV’s wife Lida and family. Rest easy PV.

06.01.2022 CWRU Affiliation Decision Earlier this year NSW Rugby announced that the bulk of its Community Rugby staff would be made redundant, including each of the Development Officers in the Central West Zone. Following that announcement, the Central West Rugby Union has given both NSW Rugby and Brumbies Rugby the opportunity to develop a community rugby proposal for consideration and to present to the Clubs. Following these presentations:... 1. FRUC A General Meeting will soon be called to consider the proposals. 2. Central West On Sunday 29 November 2020, the CWRU members will vote on whether to affiliate with NSW or Brumbies for 2021 onwards. FRUC has 1 vote. NSW Rugby and Brumbies Rugby will present their plans to the Clubs and their members at each of the meeting times below and provide a time for questions. Anyone and everyone is welcome to attend.
