24.01.2022 Forcett Hall is maintained by volunteers, who are eager to have it used while keeping it in the beautiful condition it has been lovingly restored to. The hire costs are $180 for 24 hours (plus a key bond), $50 for 5 hours and $40 for 4 hours (plus bond) - which includes the use of all facilities, photos of which are on our page. If you would like to make any enquiries or organise a booking please call Susan on 0409628031 as she handles all the booking arrangements and will be happy to help you. Due to sustained damage at previous events, the hall is no longer available for 18th or 21st birthday parties or bucks/hens nights.

01.01.2022 Bream Creek Farmers Market update It has been an incredible few days of escalating preventative measures while Australia grapples with strategies to slow the pr...ogression of coronavirus. We have a few thoughts for our stallholders and patrons as we head toward our next market on Sunday, April 5th. Firstly, our cows, goats, sheep and alpacas will still be milked, shorn and processed by our local farmers. Our lettuces, flowers, grapes and apples will be harvested and processed and our breads, pastries, curry spices, jams and preserves will continue to be made with local ingredients by our local chefs, bakers and cooks. Our coffee will be made with the same essential caffeine and our food stalls will prepare wonderful food inspired by recipes from all over the world. Our stallholders will need and deserve our patronage, and we will need these products, perhaps even more than we have needed them in ordinary circumstances. At this stage, what Bream Creek Farmers Market proposes to do is this. * Keep going every month, on the first Sunday of every month; * Spread our stallholders out over a larger area of the Showgrounds in order to manage recommended personal spaces of 1.5 metres effectively. We may need to walk further with our coffee to purchase our pastry, but it will be worth it!; * Ensure that all of our food stalls have hand sanitisers and sneeze guards and comply with maximum standards of Food Handling Regulations enforced by our local council; * We will not be putting out beanbags, but would love it if you can stash your picnic chairs and picnic rugs and set up camp to listen to our musicians; * Support our local farmers and growers during what looks like being an incredibly tough time for everyone; In peak period circumstances, BCFM has around 400+ patrons attending, spread over a time frame of 9 am to 1pm. We have plenty of space and plenty of fresh air to accomodate this current level of patronage. There conceivably could be reduced numbers attending upcoming markets, but potentially there could be more. It will be very unlikely that the Australian Governments recently announced advice of reconsidering gatherings in excess of 500 people will affect BCFM. However if we have unprecedented attendees, the Bream Creek Showgrounds will be perfectly equipped to handle extra numbers. Bream Creek Farmers Market has always provided a beautiful venue where locals and visitors alike can access wonderful regionally produced foods and wines, meet inspiring producers of our foods, enjoy talented local artists perform and connect in a vibrant, supportive, inclusive community. This will be our ongoing aim. If you are aware of local businesses or producers doing it tough due to cancellations of major stallholders operations, please let them know that Bream Creek Farmers Market, and small regional markets like ours will be endeavouring to function throughout this stage of the crisis. If they need an avenue to continue to sell, please put them in touch with us. Finally, thank goodness for regional communities like ours. Please keep joining us, and we will continue to update as circumstances require. Best wishes All at Bream Creek Farmers Market
