24.01.2022 Ready to start decorating? One of the beloved traditions in my household is decorating, the tree, the mantle, the bookshelves, the stairs (we may go a bit overboard ). But we always wait until December, even so the planning usually starts early. So this year we are going for the classic red, green and gold colour scheme. That's why we only source ethical products in our shop. How? ... Here's a look at some of the materials we use in this new knitwear collection. The merino sheep that grow the wool live in South Africa. The farmers there care for them in such a way they avoid the practice of museling the sheep (AKA cutting around the butt with no or little pain relief- ). They use instead cruelty-free ways to keep the sheep healthy and happy. The yak yarn used is sourced from yaks that graze the Tibetian plains with their nomadic carers. They get some yak pampering with a lovely long brush down to help shift their moulting hairno cutting, shaving, just a lovely brush massage. Do you value ethically made goods?
