Cy is on a mission to humanise barbershop music, and he had an indelible impact on not only Forefathers, but our three other quartets, and our chorus Deep South. Thank you, Cy. And come back soon!

15.01.2022 A moment of reflection on the 2019 Barbershop Harmony Festival (née-Convention) that has come and gone. A special thank you to the members of Deep South Chorus in supporting our journey and congratulations on the spectacular success of the event. Thank you also to our coaches this year, especially Andrew Carolan for your guidance. We are proud to have added another Senior Quartet Bronze medal to our club's list of achievements. We hope our performance brought you joy, because after all, that is the most important thing!

08.01.2022 With the 2018 BHA Convention drawing to a close, it is time to express our appreciation to all those who have been supporting our journey over the past 12 months. Firstly to our immediate families for their patience in putting up with us in countless rehearsals and our compromised availability. To our coaches over the past 12 months, especially Jonathan Bligh for his guidance and encouragement, plus the supporting contributions from Matthew Lykos, Ash Schofield, Sarah Bradley..., Alex Morris and Russell Bailey. To our exceptional MD Jeremy Just, our Deep South Chorus mates and the Hobart Men's Barbershop Harmony Club for supporting our journey and development. To those family and friends who support and encourage us with messages and uplifting comments at events and on social media, particularly our sisters in harmony, Jane Norris and Cath Fitzgerald from Jacapari, and the entire Hobart Harmony Chorus. Finally to Barbershop Harmony Australia and the entire Barbershop community who support the education and promotion of this wonderful musical expression. We look forward to our next stage of development and the opportunity to spread the word on the contemporary Barbershop style. See you soon!
