16.01.2022 Do you write legal reports? Do you give evidence in Court? If you answered, yes to either of these questions, then one of these workshops will be right for you. Remember, the day you stop learning or practicing a skill is the day you start moving backwards. Plus, it is still not too late to get in for the early-bird rates for these workshops. Hope to see you soon Anna http://www.forensicfoundations.com.au//ff-expert-witness-t

16.01.2022 We are very excited to announce our 2020 program of Proficiency Testing and Inter-laboratory Trials. The full program can be downloaded at https://www.forensicfoundations.com.au//proficiencytesting . In 2020 we are adding Fingerprint detection, enhancement and identification and Document Examination to our scope and increasing that range of Forensic Biology and Chemical Criminalistics tests. We are also offering four inter-laboratory collaborative trials. These tests r...eplicate forensic casework as they examine the end-to-end forensic process not only the examination / analytical stage. We'd love to hear from you, to discuss how we might be able to assist you.

12.01.2022 Way back in September 2019, I offered a copy of the presentation I had made at the Asian Forensic Science Network meeting to anyone who was interested. A little later I modified this offer, as I decided that the slides by themselves would make no sense, so I would record a voice over. Well it has taken until now for me to achieve this but the presentation has now been posted on YouTube. There are two other short presentations also posted on YouTube, which may be on interest. Please do not hesitate to contact me, should you wish to discuss anything in any of the video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aFDWkGOwrTw&t=15s

02.01.2022 What do the AAFS 71st Annual Scientific Meeting (Baltimore, Maryland 2019) and the Forensic Foundation Bloodstain Pattern Analysis and Glass Examination Proficiency Tests have in common?

02.01.2022 Very excited to be invited to present a plenary at the 11th Annual Meeting of The Asian Forensic Sciences Network (AFSN) September 17-20th, 2019 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. My presentation is titled: Forensic Science, ISO17025 & Risk Management.

01.01.2022 Very pleased to present the 2021 Proficiency Testing Program from Forensic Foundations. ISO17025 identifies risk management as an integral component of any scientific testing. Forensic Foundations has adopted this approach and have designed their Proficiency Tests to address risks, where possible, at all stages of the forensic process. All Forensic Foundations Proficiency Tests commence with item collection and/or receipt and all the subsequent examination / analysis steps,... culminating in the reporting, thus reflecting actual forensic casework. Forensic Foundations is accredited to ISO17043 Conformity Assessment General requirements for proficiency testing in the fields of forensic biology, chemical criminalistics and document examination. However, those tests not yet accredited also comply with requirements of ISO17043. Download a copy of the brochure here https://www.forensicfoundations.com.au//proficiencytesting
