Hoping for dry weather next week as we are re commencing our tennis programme at all 6 tennis centres in Port Stephens from next week ( Monday, July 20th). 07.01.2022 Foreshore Tennis are hoping for a 'green light'from local , Port Stephens & associated area Primary Schools in an effort to contest 2020 "Battle Of The Bay Area" Primary School Tennis Championships at beautiful Fingal Bay Tennis Club .(Scheduled for late Term 4).. After a hosting a recently contested, successful Port Stephens Junior Tournament held at Fingal Bay Tennis Courts in September, we are hoping the Prestigious Tournament will once again run for a record ( 8th)... year in succussion .. The tournament was first founded in 2013 buy the late, Newcastle Tennis Great ( Peter Doohan ) . But if you watch top players (Federer is a good example) you’ll often see a steady head with eyes on the contact point, even after the ball is gone.
