23.01.2022 Canteen News 99% Fruit Juice Slushies have returned to the canteen for Term 4 - $2.50 each with a variety of changing flavours and colours. Why not try one in our new Monday $5 special - Pizza, Slushie + fruit/veg item. New updated paper menu going home this week with students - already adjusted and available for purchase in our online My School Connect ordering.

20.01.2022 A very big Thank You to Rylann M and family for the very generous donation of delicious fresh honey to the canteen recently - we are already topping our Monday pancakes with this sticky goodness and will make further yummy foods with them in the future.

19.01.2022 CANTEEN Our Try Me promotion is underway and is proving popular. It is a great way to try a smaller portion of fried rice or our pasta before choosing to order one for lunch. The past week students have tried pasta, sippa milks, garlic rolls and delicious pancakes topped with strawberries, bananas and a little maple syrup. Students will be able try rice paper rolls, vegetable and fruit varieties and delicious fruit smoothies in the days to come. The following are photos showing some of the delightful faces seen at the canteen during the week.

17.01.2022 A huge thank you to Riverina Water for the Community Grants program. We were successful in receiving a grant from the RWCC to assist in the installation of new cricket nets. This project is well underway and will be finished in the next week or two. We will keep you updated on the progress.

16.01.2022 Important Bus Information For those students who catch the school bus please note Cox Avenue will be closed from the 27/10/2020 until 6/11/2020. ... Due to this the school bus service will not be picking up or dropping off in Cox Ave. Students will have to use either Sackville or Elizabeth Avenues to get on or off the bus.

16.01.2022 New and available from the canteen commencing Monday 22nd UP and GO - Dairy Free / Gluten Free / Vegan - available in Chocolate or Vanilla $2 each recess or lunch order option. This item will be added to our online milk choices - please select option required - can also be substituted in meal deals . NB - Gluten free pizza base and topping also available under pizza selection .

16.01.2022 Athletics Carnival We are all very excited that we can finally hold a ‘normal’ K-6 athletics carnival this year! Our carnival is being held this Friday 30th April at Jubilee Park. All students will travel to and from the carnival by bus. Our K-2 children will leave at 12:20. This is a whole school compulsory event for students K-6. Notes are due tomorrow. We are especially excited as our parents are able to come along and be part of this day and we ask you to check-in with the QR code on the gate as you arrive.

13.01.2022 Canteen News - Even the fruit and vegetables at the Canteen are happy to inform parents/ caters / staff snd students that a recent Food Authority Health Inspection has afforded the Canteen a 5 Rating !!



13.01.2022 2021 WWHS Year 7 Students The following message was received late Friday afternoon. The decision was made by the Regional Director of Education. "Due to the weather forecast on Tuesday, 1st of December the Orientation day has now been pushed back to Tuesday 8th of December. Sorry for the inconvenience.... Please contact Wagga Wagga High School if you have any questions. Clint Campbell - 2021 Year 7 Advisor As these student have not had the Transition and Taster day experiences as in previous years, attending the Orientation day is far more important than going to the movies. A short note regarding this date change will be sent home with your Year 6 child today.

12.01.2022 Canteen News It’s fresh fruit salad for recess plus delicious warm Milo. Also we have, hot from the oven, scrummy scones with our canteen-made strawberry jam. Our recess menu is evolving to include more fresh tasty summery items but there’s still room on a cold wet spring day for something warm.

11.01.2022 Canteen News Do you or someone you know have unwanted or surplus (silverbeet) spinach? If so, the canteen would LOVE some. Forest Hill students and staff absolutely love our spinach menu items. Donations may be dropped off at the front office where they will be washed, cooked and quickly consumed. Please note error to New Menu - all daily specials should read $5. This will be corrected in the paper printed copy. Apologies from the Canteen.

11.01.2022 Canteen News Information for new families to Forest Hill Public School - Canteen Ordering may be done by either brown bag order (paper menu available on request from the front office or from the canteen) OR via our online ordering system MYSCHOOL CONNECT. Our online system offers a smaller menu choice. However, it offers the convenience of being cashless, allows parents the ability to order ahead if desired and has a photo library to assist with choices.
