25.01.2022 Forest School Leader Level 3 Course comes to Toowoomba! The Forest School Leader training is tailored to support the Australian National Curriculum and Early Years Learning Framework. All practical session ideas, planning and recording documentation and presentations will relate to these learning outcomes. Health and Safety and Risk Benefit analysis input will also be tailored to the environment here in Queensland. It is all about reconnecting our children with meaningful experiences in a local natural setting. The course presenter is Christina Dee from Forest School Learning Initiative UK. Christina, together with with her team of experienced educators has successfully trained hundreds of Forest School Leaders. Christina is a well-respected, and highly sought after trainer.

05.01.2022 Lots of learning and fun happening at the ' Introduction to Forest School" workshop in September 2017 at the Kath Dickson Early Learning Centre in Toowoomba. Whittling and decorating Bilma clapsticks, building bug hotels and shelters were some of the early learning activities explored.

01.01.2022 I am really excited to offer another workshop in Toowoomba on Forest Education. Forest Education closely follows the European Forest School ethos, but adapted for Australian conditions. You will leave this workhop with practical ideas, lots of handouts, and the knowledge to take your outdoor learning to a new level. You will join and network with a growing community of professionals who are pushing the boundaries and who are committed to helping children re-connect with nature. We have become so preoccupied with technology that we have overlooked the obvious. Children being in nature has a calming and steadying influence on their lives. This impact spills over into all of their other activities and relationships. #ForestEducation #ChildreninNature
