Nature, feminism and food lovers come and enjoy our exhibition in the lush and wholesome Kallista Permaculture Gallery. ... Soul house is Australia’s first dedicated wellness space for Indian, Pakistani and South Asian women and includes an active artist’s community. We are non profit organisation, proceeds from the sales goes towards helping women in need of escape from toxic, abusive homes. A vase in the bathroom full of colour is beautiful. The night scented Jasmine at the back door oozes sweetness many nights a year. Flowers are not only important for us but absolutely essential in the cultivated ecosystem. A wise woman once told me a productive garden must be 40% flowers for it to function properly. Join Permaculture Nursery owner Tamara Griffiths a workshop on the importance of flowers in Permaculture Design. Plan for function, enjoy the beauty. We will have special showbags available all weekend full of beautiful home made flower products and some of our favourite flowering plants. Come at 10.30 for a wander around ready for an 11am start. The weather looks good, event will run rain or shine. We will be in the rotunda, please wear warm clothes and bring a jacket. Tamara will be available afterwards for questions and advice. Extra awesome - Miranda Mueller from Go to Ground permaculture will be looking after the nursery and available for plant and permaculture advice. Join us for a lovely day in the garden.
