23.01.2022 Hey everyone How’s are you all going during covid?? Has it affected the way you spend time with your horse/s ? ... We have been incredibly lucky through this unknown time as we live onsite, we have heard horrible stories of people receiving fines for travelling to feed or water there horses. I can’t imagine not being able to check on my fur babies. Although during this time I have managed to break and dislocate my collar bone. So keeping my butt out of the saddle has been a real challenge. However the horses that still reside at the rescue have learnt a few new ground trick during this time. So I don’t think they had any complaints Sammie is really starting to grey out and his coat is such a beautiful colour
20.01.2022 24 forever homes found and counting Ok guy, so we have almost reached our 1 year anniversary, so I have put together collages for each of the horses we have rehabilitated and rehomed since then. Each of the horses that have joined our family throughout the last year have all been amazing animals who are more than worthy of a forever home. We have loved watching each and everyone one of them grow and develop into the horses they now are. As you will see in the pictures ...below each horse was extremely unique, all coming from different walks of life, all needing different types of care. But as a family we got to know each and everyone of them. We were able to give them a second chance at a life that would have been ended. At the moment we have really slowed down with the number of horses we are taking on due to finances and personal circumstances but the ones we do still have in care are getting the best of care and hopefully they too will be able to join these guys in the adopted section soon. We hope to continue taking in new family members towards the end of the year. We really do appreciate all the support you guys give and without you we wouldn’t have 24 meat work horses rehomed. So thank you

Quarter horse filly Who can- lead, tie up and have her feet picked up and trimmed, she has been handled from the moment she was born and has the sweetest nature. She has been desensitised to many things and is very comfortable around people. She is very energetic and loves to zoom around the paddock. She should mature around 15hh. Finding the perfect family is very important. She will be be going with a contract so don’t bother enquiring if you only want her as a project. We are trying to find a forever home.
