24.01.2022 I am very excited to share some news with our villager! We are teaming up with Skills to Grow a speech and occupational therapy service for Children. As part of this partnership they will be conducting a screening at our centre on 7th January for families who wish to take part. What are the benefits of screening services for speech and OT?... -Screening can detect delays or difficulties across different development areas -Can indicate the need for early intervention. Early intervention is the key to success -Screening provides support and education for parents and educators so we can all support with strategies and ideas Please see the photo in the comments below for more information #partofourvillage

24.01.2022 They say it takes a village and they are right. We have some very special people who are beyond kind with their generosity and we are very blessed! One of our beautiful families brought in some donations for our 2020 Homeless appeal and also threw in some goodies for our families and educators. We have loaves of bread, fresh fruit and veggies and a few other bits and peices. If you or anyone you know would like some of the food items head down to the centre. ... #partofourvillage

01.01.2022 Have you seen the Tinker table in the our Pre Kindy room? The tinker table gives the children freedom to create. There are many material for the children to explore and create with. This is a very popular zone for the little ones to play in. Open-ended play gives children the opportunity to be a leader. When children aren't handed a set of instructions they make their own. Rather than telling a child how to do something, open-ended play leaves the decision-making up to them. #partofourvillage
