07.01.2022 Our AGM is this Thursday & to put it bluntly, we need your help to ensure the club will continue to provide our great game of AFL for our kids. Anna has put a mammoth amount of work into keeping the club running, with help of course from a few just as dedicated members of our little community, but she'd really like to step aside from the president role & let someone new continue the work. Whether you think everything is awesome & want to see us continue on our path OR have so...me great new ideas you'd like to see the club try out, come & PARTICIPATE. Requirements to join the committee: - Friendly, get along with anyone & everyone - Not afraid to help out so we share the load - Current or ability to obtain a Blue Card NOT Required to join the committee: - Knowledge of the rules & regs of AFL (that's what coaches & umpires are for) - Family members who play for our club That's right, absolutely anyone can join our committee & help our club continue to prosper. Retirees looking for something to do, uni students or unemployed looking for some experience, all welcome. If you think you have something to offer, please do come & offer it! Position descriptions are available, please ask. Nominations taken from the floor of the AGM, this THURSDAY 29th October, 7.00pm start at the Forest Lake Hall. We will see you there!
