25.01.2022 Our Senior Band resumed rehearsal this morning using social distancing protocols. They sounded great! It must be all that practice they did over the holidays



25.01.2022 The Junior Strings students have been learning their instruments for 7 months and did their first performance last week. As we couldnt invite parents to watch, we thought we would share it here.

23.01.2022 LOST PROPERTY- this is our current pile of lost items. We regularly look for named items and return these to the correct class. Please remember to label your childs items. If you think one of these items might belong to you, please come along and have a look. Lost property is located outside of our administration building and can be accessed by parents at anytime via the Kauri Place entry. Student can access lost property before, during and after the school day.

22.01.2022 Year 6 students have been working on their STEM inquiry ‘How can we design and create an electrical device that will ensure security within an environment?’. This project combined knowledge learnt in Design and Technologies, and Science. Students designed and constructed electrical circuits to make observations, develop explanations and perform specific tasks, using materials and equipment safely. They investigated how electrical energy can control movement, sound and light in a product. Everyone enjoyed creating their real world devices

21.01.2022 Junior Strings had their first rehearsal ever. These students only started playing this year. It was a big day for them and they did really well especially with the extra demands of social distancing.

The project links together their Design and Technologies unit ‘It’s showtime!’ and Science unit ‘Material madness’. Students have followed the design process to design and create their own puppet with moving parts. Check out their amazing work in the video.
