20.01.2022 NEW UPDATE! Following the update from the Premier last night we would like to let you know what we will be happening at the Centre from Saturday 1 May - Friday 7 May. We have updated our plans and procedures to reflect the new requirements including returning to the 2sqm rule. We will ensure we are following the requirements and continuing to perform regular cleaning throughout the day. ... Our playgroups, Discovery Club and Lego Club will be running, weather permitting we will program activities for outside with social distancing, adults will be required to wear masks while at our Centre. Regular groups have been contacted and will be making arrangements with their members and advising their plans for next week. If you are attending the centre next week please ensure you; * wear a mask * sanitise * scan the SafeWA app As always please do not attend if you or your child are unwell. We are seeking someone with a good heart and a great mind who will share our dream of making positive memories for children, families and the community. We want someone who is not afraid of a challenge and someone who has a positive can-do attitude and caring friendly nature. If you are up for the challenge, willing to work hard and are wanting to undertake a traineeship in Certificate III in Early Education and Care, we want to speak with you. We have updated our plans and procedures to reflect the requirements. We will ensure we are following the requirements and continuing to perform regular cleaning throughout the day. ... Our prekindy program will continue to operate this week and families will be contacted through dojo of the restrictions that will effect them. There will be no Discovery Club, Playgroups or workshops this week. Regular user groups have been contacted and are making arrangements with their members and will advise them of their plans this week. Our office will be open for anyone requiring assistance or enquiries but the following will be required to enter our site: Masks Hands santised Sign in using SafeWA If you believe you or your child were in an identified exposure location please follow the advice from Health Department, undertake a Covid test and isolate until you have received your results. If you or your child are awaiting results you are not permitted to attend our centre until you have received a negative result. Please do not attend our centre if you are unwell in anyway. Our club is held at the Forest Lakes... / Thornlie Family Centre INC from 3.30 - 4.30pm during school term. If your child is between the ages of 7-15yrs, absolutely loves lego, and is happy to sit and build for up to one hour at a time, please email [email protected] for an enrolment form.
