23.01.2022 Does anyone know people high up in companies that need carbon credits? This project could be a good source of carbon credits and Koala credits. Maybe they would want to help!

21.01.2022 Hi everyone, thank you again for liking our page. Just an update on the response of people. Brisbane has the greatest numbers so far of people committed to buying a plot should we reach the needed number. Followed by Sydney then Melbourne then Canberra.

20.01.2022 Hi Everyone. We have now formerly registered the business name LIFEFORESTS.COM so we are now Norguard Security Pty Ltd T/As LIFEFORESTS.COM ABN: 99612388182

20.01.2022 Another reason for forest building

19.01.2022 Thank you for liking the page everyone. Hopefully it will keep gathering momentum so we can act to save and create some forests for Koalas. Please share with your friends to keep it going!

19.01.2022 Hi everyone. Letting you all know we will be offering places for ashes to be placed as well.

19.01.2022 Hi everyone, thought I would share the ABC news article about our project with you. https://www.abc.net.au//koala-habitats-could-be-r/12692006

18.01.2022 We officially welcome Ecologist Greg Johnstone on board. Greg is an experienced ecologist in the public and not-for-profit sectors. Greg currently specialises in the delivery of ecological restoration of threatened vegetation communities and terrestrial species habitat around Brisbane. He has an extensive background in policy development and implementation, and has contributed to field research projects that investigate fauna presence, abundance and richness within their habitats. Greg’s knowledge and experience working with forest ecosystems and threatened species will be valuable to the success of this project.

18.01.2022 Hi everyone. Got a call from ABC radio yesterday and they interviewed me about the project on the afternoon Drive show. So it is good to be able to reach more people. Thought I would put the link up so those who would like to listen. Go to the 40min49sec position for the start of the interview. https://www.abc.net.au//bris/programs/drive/drive/12663714

17.01.2022 Can everyone please respond to this question so I have a better idea where the land/forest needs to be, please. How far away from the city is too far in your minds? And how far would be ok? For a forest cemetery to be placed. Thanks everyone. This is a small sample of the population but hopefully it will be a good guide of people who would want to help koalas and the planet in their death.

14.01.2022 Very happy to announce because of my raising this idea we now have an Architect, Jeremy Walsh, who wants to be on the board of advisers. We also have an ecologist, Gregory Johnston, who manages the Koala and other environmental projects who also wants to be a part of the project. Watch our website About Us page for updates on these two specialists in their field who also love Koalas. Would also like to add to the board of advisors an environmental lawyer, a real estate ag...ent with experience in sourcing land for these sort of projects. We get the experts together then we have a better chance of success. So if you know any who may be interested in such a project please let them know. And honestly if there is anyone famous who really would like to help as well I would love to have them on the board as well. These sort of steps are very encouraging, I hope we can continue to have more genuine people who care than the abuse I am coping from some who I have had to ban and block. Thanks again everyone, Evan. #koalas #savekoalas #forestsforkoalas #forests #environment

13.01.2022 We all love getting GOOD VALUE! Now you can get FANTASTIC VALUE and help Koalas and climate change at the same time! In Brisbane burial plots start at $4000.00 and go up! Now you can buy a burial plot for $1100.00 and you will be funding forests for Koalas and climate change. LifeForests.com

12.01.2022 No Donations!! Now you can get great value and help koalas without donations. Only need 3500 people in each major city to commit and we can start helping Koalas and climate change. Answer COMMIT to be one of them. https://www.abc.net.au//koala-habitats-could-be-r/12692006

09.01.2022 Hi Everyone. Here is an example I found of an overseas forest cemetery. I like to think ours will be a bit neater and the trees will be spaced at 6 meters apart. But it shows the idea. Glad I googled it to reply to a knocker. https://foursquare.com/v/metsakal/4ce00c7c94c3b60c771a6fea

09.01.2022 Hi Everyone, please be advised of our plan moving forward. Please do not give funds yet. I do not know if we will get the numbers yet. If we get the numbers required to make it possible then we will find a suitable property and notify everyone who is interested. The first cemetery/forest will be near the capital city where most of the interest comes from. We are looking at properties now as interest is increasing but it is not enough yet. Cemeteries are extremely profi...table businesses so there is no ongoing fees. Like all cemeteries we will have to hire a contract excavator to dig the grave so that like all cemeteries that will be a fee as well. However just as the plots are well below normal charges so will the digging fees. We will be a legal cemetery and you will still need the advice of an undertaker as we are focused on the provision of affordable graves and forests for Koalas. When we get the numbers then all monies will be paid to a solicitors trust fund to pay for the property, Development Application and set up costs. We will only get whats left over for ongoing running costs. The cemetery will be selling graves for many years just as all cemeteries do so income then will come from this. Hope this answers your queries. Regards Evan See more

08.01.2022 We are learning! Well after just a couple of weeks promoting on Facebook I have learned that some people want the neat and tidy forest cemetery I imagine where trees are evenly spaced to give the best chance of success, some want a totally wild forest burial where there is only a rock to mark the spot, and many want to have their ashes buried and a tree planted with their ashes. We will try to accommodate all requests so long as there is no build up of fire fuel to feed a bu...sh fire. We will employ an Funeral Director to provide those who want natural burials in a Burial Shroud or Bio-degradable wicker coffin with what they desire including body pick up from place of death, to non-chemical treatment of the body, to placement in the plot. The Funeral Director will also be able to arrange cremations through an existing crematorium if needed and placement of the ashes in a bio-degradable Urn that can be buried with a tree. We hope to be able to provide wicker coffins and burial shrouds at the same price most funeral homes do as we will source them from the same suppliers. It seems each sells for around $1250-$1350. If families or clients request a celebrant provide the service then they are welcome to make that arrangement as we do not wish to keep adding to the cost for people. We will not be providing coffins that are not environmentally friendly . Just the 2 choices already mentioned. Please keep the ideas coming. We want to get it right for you and for Koalas.

06.01.2022 Hi Everyone, Just an update on how we are progressing. Almost 500 people already committed to purchasing a grave so we are well on our way to achieving our goal of 3500 within a year. Then we can move to stage 2 and buy the land and plant the forest and start the cemetery that will protect it all. Thank you and please keep talking to others about it and sharing on social media.

06.01.2022 We have had such good feed back from you all that I started looking at land more closely last week. Now have 2 Qld properties that according to Greg our ecologist are excellent for koalas project and close to community to reduce travel. So everyone could I ask you to be ambassadors and talk to friends and family to see how many people would seriously like to buy a very cheap grave plot (as many do in advance) at only $1100.00 and let me know. If we can move quickly enough t...han one of these properties will be project 1. The other alternative is I offer an investment proposal to angel investors and give them an excellent return on their money in return for the funds needed. That will me our grave prices will have to be put at retail price of $1650.00. Your feedback is very welcomed as in a way project one will be the result of all our combined efforts. Thanks Evan

04.01.2022 I realise my idea is novel and different. And if you do not like it that is your right and choice. But the project is real and I hope for Koalas sake that it succeeds. It is set up in a real Australian company so if you believe this is a fake or fraud please feel free to report it to the police. I do not want to be harassed by you and I will block you and report you. I am a registered tax agent and have a lot to lose look me up on the tax practicioners board agent number 23763004. To the knockers please realise that some people are real. Regards Evan Jenkin

02.01.2022 Amazing news. Today I had a look at someones property when they asked if their block could be suitable. It is in a Koala corridor and adjoins a rehabilitated quarry. Excellent rectangular block with a water holding creek at one end. It will be great for a koala project and has several beautiful large gum trees already there. It is only 5 acres so unsuitable for a human cemetery to be economically viable. But it will make a great forest pet cemetery. So I will speak with council next week and the people are very keen to make it work as a forest pet cemetery. They will own it and that is OK. Big thing is already some good has come out of my attempt to help Koalas. Will keep everyone updated as things progress.

02.01.2022 Hi Everyone, Got some prices back on land close to Brisbane. Looks like we will only need about 3500 people to buy a plot for burial or ashes placement to finance the purchase and set up and works costs to make it happen. We still do not have the numbers but I figured if everyone knows what we need then maybe you can help us find the numbers. What do you all think?
