24.01.2022 Introducing our Under 16 Boys Division 1 Coach and Age Group Coordinator Dan Stratford. Dan is a SA Country High Performance coach, he has coached both boys and girls in a range of age groups. He was also head coach for an Australian Country Cup team New Zealand tour. Dan has spent 20 years down in Mount Gambier, was assistant coach with the Mount Gambier Pioneers and also coached Mount Gambier Lakers teams winning many championships. Dan has been actively involved in assi...sting 12 athletes gain USA College Scholarships. This season, Dan has been coaching one of our Under 10 boys’ teams. 18.01.2022 Our Under 10 Boys had an extremely tough winter season, how wonderful, they capped off the 2020 year with some wins and were runner's up in the St Clair Carnival. Congratulations boys on never giving up!

14.01.2022 Introducing our Under 16 Girls Division 1 Coach and Age Group Coordinator Damian Weeks. Damian has had an illustrious coaching career spanning more than 40 years. Damian spent 1 year at the Australian Institute of Sport as women’s assistant coach. He has coached at Australian junior level. He has been involved for over 20 years in South Australian Elite Junior Programs, coaching under 16 and under 18 girls.... Damian has a lead role in the Adelaide Lightning Rachel Sporn Academy. Damian is one of the few individuals to hold level 1, 2 & 3 coaching accreditation in South Australia. Forestville is very blessed to have Damian involved in our girl’s basketball program. Brad has been involved with the Forestville Eagles Basketball Club as a junior player, Premier League player and captain, coach, former Club Coaching Director, Board Member, is a Forestville Life Member and an all round good bloke (in his own words!) Brad’s Premier League days had him rewarded with 3 Championships. Brad’s long association with the club has had him coach at every age level, b...oth boys and girls up to and including youth league. Brad is currently the Chair of the Free Throw Foundation Charity, supporting underprivileged youth to create opportunities to succeed. Trudy is our current Under 10 Boys Coach and AGC and we are very lucky to have her.... Trudy has coached for many years across junior teams at Forestville, West Adelaide and Woodville. Her playing history has included WNBL for West Adelaide 1987-1992, Premier League for 13 years at West Adelaide and Woodville.
