25.01.2022 Today I’d like to share my story how Do-it-yourself you could ruin your skin with Myofascial Massage! If you are NOT the expert!! Myofascial (my-o-FASH-e-ul) release is a manual therapy technique often used in massage. So as a beauty therapist I was keen-set to learn new techniques to help improving wrinkles...... After reading an article about Myofascial Release from Deborah Tosline who wrote and published Skin Remodeling DIY: An Introduction to the Underground World of Do-It-Yourself Skincare in 2015. The concept of the Myofascial Massage is Myofascial Release for the Face: Our faces are full of tense muscles that hold excessive tension throughout the day and during sleep. The tension throughout our brow, eyes, nose and jaw. These tense muscles also go through degenerative processes that involve muscle atrophy.....Compression and deep tissue massage are the only real way to get the tension out. ... Now inspired by all this info I have tried to release the tension in my most concerning area... They suggest to use tools like rollers, bolls ec. The IDEA is A jade roller is used to release tight muscles in the face and promote lymphatic drainage. The RESULT was devastating! My muscles around my eyes were too relaxedI stretched the skin!!! What should I do now?! Yes , I cried!But this didn’t help me, right! Then I started thinking how can I bring back those muscles?! And YES Electro therapy was my answer as a safe option to improve elasticity and tight my muscles back! Along with skincare and micro current ( EMS and Galvanic) I can smile again!!!
