11.01.2022 As many of you are now aware, we are in 6 days lockdown starting tonight. For all those clients I had booked in over the next 6 days, I will contact you to re book. I'm sorry for any inconvenience this will cause. If I could do take way beauty I'd be all over it... (could that really be a thing??)... 11.01.2022 Hi all, With all the uncertainties and changing conditions evolving as we speak, I wanted to take the time to say how 'THANKFUL' I am. When Covid took hold earlier in the year, I had been at the point of opening my business. Just before I could do that, restrictions were changed and beauty salon's were told they could not operate. This was a huge blow, both financially and mentally, for myself, along with so many others. ... I had invested so much time and money with growing excitement only to watch as everything crumbled around all of us. During this time it gave me perspective on what's actually important to me and my family, with time to reflect on what I'm thankful for. So right now I'm THANKFUL..... I'm thankful that with this resurgence of covid here in SA, I still have the opportunity to trade and not shut completely. I have not been sent back to square one and I can still beautify my clients, just with different restrictions. I am thankful for the ability to adapt and for my business to adapt. I'm thankful we live in amazing communities and an amazing state, with so many people doing the right thing. If we all do this together, we can nip this in the bud quicker and return to doing what we all love. A shout out to all the amazing business in Meadows and surrounding areas, stay safe and keep doing your thing..... you're all amazing.
