13.01.2022 Getting married during this madness? So, if you weren’t aware. It’s August 2020 and there is this virus going around. The country is in lockdown at varying degrees. People are dying. Doesn’t mean the weddings have to stop. I have spent the last five months trying to be strong for everyone that needs it. ... But the fact is, so many of my couples dream weddings aren’t happening. Can’t happen. Won’t happen. And as much as we can all pretend it’s going to be okay, for them it’s not. I am going to give you a few tid bits below: take what you want. Leave what you don’t and feel free to comment what you agree with. - Remember WHY you are getting married - Decide what is truly important to YOU - This time is a great one if you want an excuse not to invite that family member that gives you the shits - Spend money on the things you want to and that will last - Create beautiful moments, then capture them. Let’s be honest; it’s a once in a generation shit show out there. Atleast film it - Get creative. Have three groups of people if you have to. Other cultures have multiple weddings. Why not us. - Live Streaming is not the same as being there. - If you can not achieve your wedding and you won’t be happy - postpone now. Not later.
