25.01.2022 A mother's love is the same no matter where they are in the world When you help women in Tanzania, you are supporting resilient mothers like Salome who has overcome so many obstacles Salome started a business selling maize, so her four children can survive and thrive! Thanks for opening doors for businesswomen across the world

24.01.2022 Training day looks a little different at the moment in Tanzania. Our partners can’t host all 60 families at a time. But our local team are able to keep seeing EVERYONE. Thanks for backing them each week to give life, connection, and empowerment.

23.01.2022 Today in Tanzania, Restituta is an independent grandmother and is providing for her family! She now earns almost $2 a dayup from 18 cents a year ago. She built a business selling tiny dried fish, called daaga, which changed everything. When we first met, Restituta’s daughter had suddenly passed away in childbirth, leaving a newborn baby named Esther without a source of milk. For a grandmother living in extreme poverty, there was no way she could afford the nutrition she need...ed. So this story often ends in death or family separation. Thankfully, our Tanzanian team gave nutrition, training, and empowerment over 12 months. A year later, life has transformedRestituta feeds her family better food more often, she can always afford medicine, knows more about keeping this family healthy, and has a better quality of life. The best part? The family is together, in their community, able to thrive, forever. See more

22.01.2022 We're grateful that this is the heart of our local partners in Tanzania. It's been their approach from the start. And they've put it into practice for every woman they serve

21.01.2022 JOURNEY TO EMPOWERMENT: Lydia A familiar face and an empowering story. It was a terrible time for Lydia. She was scared for her children and didn’t know how to help them. She was tired after a difficult pregnancy and worried about the triplet’s health. ... When she stopped producing milk, Lydia was faced with an impossible decisionrisk her children’s lives or give them up to an orphanage... a decision faced by many women in Tanzania. Thankfully your support allows our local team to create a new way forward. One where families are kept together. Lydia immediately began coming to weekly training sessions, even though it meant a four-hour round trip with three babies strapped to her back. The reality for all the mothers we meet, in Tanzania and around the world, is they would do anything for their children. They want their babies to thrive. Lydia says I felt as though my babies were being rescued because I didn't know if they would survive in the condition that they were in. I was happy because I wasn't expecting to get help I am so happy. Lydia worked to figure out a viable business idea, one that she would enjoy, and that she could run while raising her family. In May of 2019, she was awarded funds to set up a charcoal business, a product she could sell from outside her home without needing to leave her children. The funds allowed her to set up the business and she quickly started to make sales, giving her access to a sustainable income to provide for herself and her family forever Your support allows our local impact partners to walk alongside women like Lydia for 12 months. Together we can create a forever impact foreverprojects.org/blog#!/posts/21

20.01.2022 What an absolute legend! Josh smashed out a marathon in 2:55 yesterday. And also broke his fundraising PB by raising $3,056 100% of which will go to our team’s response to current challenges. Such a great example for all of us... Here’s why he was running: We can all acknowledge that Covid-19 has wreaked havoc on the world and that times have been wild. We can also acknowledge that we have been fairly fortunate in Australia with how it has played out. However, that is not the case for everyone. I am going to run a marathon to raise money for the Tanzanian families still feeling the impacts of Covid-19. Every little bit counts, and we can all pull together to help out and make a difference in this incredibly difficult year. Josh

19.01.2022 With 100% of your support directly reaching our local impact partners, you can be sure that your gift cards will reach the women in Tanzania to provide them with the resources they need to overcome poverty and lead the life of empowerment, dignity and hope they deserve What's in your hands? www.foreverprojects.store/shop

19.01.2022 JOURNEY TO EMPOWERMENT: Regina, mother of two daughters and a grandmother to six. Five years on...Empowerment lasts a lifetime. Regina was a mother to two daughters and a grandmother to six. We met Regina just after her second daughter passed away. She bravely decided to take all her grandchildren under her wing, but for a grandmother living in poverty, this is almost impossible. The child who was struggling the most was a newborn girl named Judith.... That was five years ago. Cycle ended. Today Judith goes to school. Regina walks there every afternoon to pick her up. Life is very different now. All because of a thriving business. When we visited her last, she was explaining how customers call her to order the dried fish she sells, and she delivers them on a bike. A bike bought with the profits from her business. Now Regina and all six grandchildren have claimed independencean independence that's lasted long after our partnership with her ends. Forever Projects is a sustainable, transparent and empowering way to invest in a future where every human can provide for themselves and their families. Thank you for investing in forever change.

18.01.2022 With healthy children and an ongoing income, Shakuru tells us she has more time, is more relaxed, and has hope for her family’s future. This is what's possible when obstacles are removedresilient mums like Shakuru can thrive

18.01.2022 As many of us know, the ability to continue working from home has been a game changer this year. It is in Tanzania too. Being able to work from home means Elizabeth can earn an income while caring for her grandsonand not have to choose between the two. Our local team empowered Elizabeth to look for a business needed within her community. They then gave her training and capital to set it up. Thanks for helping make it possible for families to be self-sufficient We are continually expanding our reach. We invite you to be part of the first 100 to invest in a world where every human can provide for their family. subscribe.foreverprojects.org/

15.01.2022 JOURNEY TO EMPOWERMENT: Meet baby Surahia When baby Surahia was born, her mum (Mama Surahia), suffered from postpartum psychosisa mental health issue that affected her due to giving birth. So to begin, baby Surahia was cared for by her Aunt, Rahema. When we met baby Surahia was 3 months old and weighed the same a newborn3.3kg. ... Because of your support, our team provided formula milk for her aunt Rahema and trained her to prepare it properly. This is what literally saved baby Surahia's life. Rehema used to sell clothes but has had to stop to care for Surahia. Her husband works as a fruit vendor. We gave nutrition for baby Surahia and training in disease prevention, health care, and hygiene. We provided a baby feeding kit of milk flasks, baby bottles, formula milkall the life saving stuff for baby Surahia! Along with this, we gave a mosquito net to help prevent malaria and immediately increase the quality of life for this family. 9 months later: We had been preparing for COVID 19 in Tanzania for weeks. Mama Surahia came today and both her and baby Surahia are doing great. We spaced out the days that caregivers came and they enter one by one via a hand washing station. We gave Mama Surahia a pack of 5 soaps to ensure she kept hand washing at home and extra milk so that she didn't have to make regular trips on a crowded bus to get to us. 12 months later: Your consistent support meant that we were able to give weekly nutrition to baby Surahia’s, allowing her weight to more than double within six months. Her Aunt, Rehema tells us she now feels more confident about baby Surahia’s future. Thanks to you, Rehema was able to restart her business selling clothes with a cost of AU$215 to set it up. She now earns a regular income which is the average for the region. The family always has money for food and medicine. They are able to eat 3 balanced meals a day. Thanks to your support, empowerment for this family was made possible Using what's in your hands means that together, we can continue to provide this for even more families in need. subscribe.foreverprojects.org/

07.01.2022 THE BACKSTORY OF WHAT’S YOUR KILIMANJARO: Two years ago Wadey was challenged to use what’s in his hands. He enjoys scaling the escarpment near his house, so he decided to climb it 20 times in a weekthe equivalent in elevation of Mt Kilimanjaro. He did that to raise some funds for the partners we support in Tanzania. He called it ‘Austimanjaro’ because it’s right in his backyard which is Austinmer. He set out on the gruelling challenge with a goal of $10K. And after being ma...tched by his workplace, Tibra Capital Foundation, he raised $27K! So last year he did it again, but this time asking people to join him. 221 people stepped up. And together they raised over $150K! So we’re so excited this year to make it possible for anyone to join us where ever they are in the world! We’re asking, What’s Your Kilimanjaro? It could be you who joins us, it could be someone who has never heard of FP. That’s what we’re excited about. We love watching the people who are inspired to be generous and brave and inviting others into this amazing community. 06.01.2022 "I'm really looking forward to being a part of it again - both being an agent of change myself and hearing/seeing the stories as they unfold across our region and beyond. We all have a unique story, we all have unique gifts and resources, and we'll all be doing our thing in this week of epicness in October in different locations and in different ways. Yet, we are all united by this common cause." Read why John did the epic challenge of walking equivalent elevation of Mt Kilimanjaro in a day last year, and what he's doing again this year

02.01.2022 Know where your money goes. We understand the tension between wanting to give to a cause and fully trusting how your money will be spent. We’ve been there too, and that’s why we wanted to structure ourselves differently. So, we built a Core Community of generous donors who fund 100% of our growth. The result - we can send 100% of donations directly to the work on the ground in East Africa....
