12.01.2022 Hope everyone donated for Daffodil Day on friday and went out and supported the cancer council... Thank you to all the volunteers who dedicated their time this weekend to raisng money for cancer research.... We were very honoured to donate our products to a great cause.. congrats to all those who won in the raffle

I know there are a million and one things racing through your mind and you may or may not be able to answer all those questions you are asking yourself. I am slowly updating and revamping my blog so my question to all my followers here is.. "What is the one ting you would like to some advise on? What could I write about that would help you the most? How could I offer you advise?"... Please post anything here that you would like to know and I will get working on that blog post.

10.01.2022 Have been super quiet the last few weeks. Playing around with mood boards and sifting through the excitement of Christmas. I haven't had the chance to do a little special on Pantone's 2016 Colour (or colours we should say) of the Year. 2016 sees the release of the Rose Quartz & Serenity pairing - for the first time a blending of 2 shades is the colour of the year. We are in the era where people are seeking mindfulness and well being as the antidote to the stresses of the mode...rn life, look how popular Yoga is now compared to 7,8 years ago. The warm and embracing tone from the rose quartz paired with the cool tranquil blue of serenity offers a peaceful balance despite its deeper challenge of social and traditional perceptions of colour. We will be seeing a lot of these 2 colours throughout the year. I have put together a few mood boards to express how lovely these two could be used in up coming weddings. Stay tuned for my posts and variations of these 2 beautiful colours

06.01.2022 Simply Serene - collaboration of Rose Quartz & Serenity This set is my favourite. In this concept our Bride is in a lovely Serenity Blue gown, her maids in a very pale Rose Quartz. The Groom will be in a lovely white suit with hints of Rose Quartz flowers in his boutonniere. Tables will be predominately clear and blue glass, from vases to candle holders. The tables will be dressed in a serenity blue sheer and hold bouquets of rose and white florals surrounded by minimal amou...nts of green foliage. This is more suitable colour to wear for a bride who has a very red/pink complexion. A beautiful cool and calming palette will suit any location and can be incorporated into any theme.

06.01.2022 I have done a lot of talking lately about weddings and planning and have not gotten around to talking about my candles.. I thought I'd take 5 and tell you all how good Soy Wax is and what all the hype is around them. Over the last few years its been all about the "Soy Wax Candle" but im sure most people don't really know why.... Soy wax is made from hydrogenated soybean oil which is a vegetable and has many benefits including:... - Soy Wax is non toxic and burns cleaner than other paraffin candles.They have no petrol-carbon soot which can blacken walls, ceilings and furniture. They do not contaminate ventilation ductwork in your home and do not add toxic carcinogens to the air you breathe. - Soy candles burn slower and at a cooler temperature than paraffin which will create a longer burning candle - this point alone was huge to me. Having ever so curious kids around lets say my adorable and naughty son decided to stick his fingers in a candle after it was blown out of course. The wax will still be hot yes, however being a soy candle its no where near as hot as a paraffin candle would be so it will not burn him. (Boys are so mischievous) - Soybeans are a renewable source unlike paraffin which consists of petroleum - technically for years we were burning smelly petroleum in the house... Weird right - Soy wax is biodegradable making it easier to remove from materials and other surfaces should an accident occur - Buying soybean products create an important ecomonic growth for the agricultural sector (helping the farmers) and are simply better for you an your family There are so many more benefits but these are what really stood out to me. 01.01.2022 Pretty in Pink - Collaboration of Rose Quartz & Serenity This concept sees our bride in a soft and elegant Rose Quartz gown while our Groom can be seen in a beautifully tailored Serenity blue suit. Our setting suits a beach wedding and can even adapt to a beautiful garden wedding as well. Tables are adorned with fresh flowers in rose, white, and blue surrounded by lovely green foliage. Tables are dressed with hessian and white looking very elegant and simple. This style will suit a bride who can easily wear warm colours, unfortunately warmer tones do not suit every one. My next post will be for those who, like me, can not wear warmer shades without looking red all all over, but would still like to incorporate the Rose quartz & Serenity colours
