23.01.2022 Oh dear I have just found out that meetings of more than 20 people are not allowed until midnight on May 1. Chelsea and I are hoping that lots more than 20 can come along to meet Chelsea, see the horses and ponies and farewell me (Wendy) Soooo the date has been changed until 2 May.... Hope to see as many past, present and future friends of Forge Farm there. So that date again 3pm to 6pm Sunday 2 May Please text, email or facebook Chelsea or myself so that we have some idea of numbers.

22.01.2022 Good Evening The time is flying past and my days of owning and running Forge Farm are rapidly coming to a close. The end of an era for me and an exciting new beginning for Chelsea Macri who will be taking over on 1 May 2021.... Chelsea will be running all the activities that have proved popular over the past 23 years at Forge Farm, and of course continuing to make the most of the beautiful riding country we have right outside our gate. If you would like to make a booking for any time after 1 May 2021 then please email Chelsea at [email protected] or call on 0452581183. Chelsea and I are holding a party on 1 May from 3.00pm to 6pm. We would love to catch up with all our friends who have ridden at forge Farm over the years, and hopefully, some of the people who used to ride with me in Kalamunda before we moved the riding school to Chidlow. 20.01.2022 I have four horses to bring back from our other farm Fettler's Crossing. Looking for 3 riders to join us on this lovely 2 hour ride at a discounted price of $70 per person Luckily tomorrow is going to be cooler!!... 14.01.2022 Reaching out to anyone out there who has lost their house in the recent terrible fire. We have a fully furnished house that we would like to loan to someone (rent free of course) for 4 weeks. The house is located on 15 acres in Wooroloo, no one lives there and you would have the place to yourself.... The house has everything you would need, linen, kitchen equipment, books, toys. Pets are welcome and if you have horses then there are well fenced paddocks, water etc. which you can also have the use of. 13.01.2022 What is involved in a Pony Morning? A three hour session, it involves one hour of riding and two hours of learning how to care for a horse. It is aimed at children who have had little or no experience with horses... There may be as many as 20 children in one session, although it is rare to have this many. Children are split into three groups and work around the different activities, grooming, feeding, mucking out a yard, putting on a saddle etc. and of course riding. The cost is $55 per child and it is suitable for the 6 - 12 year old age group. 13.01.2022 Thank you to Kylie Morris who has helped me out so many times over the years and who stepped into the breach today! There are now 14 sleeps before I hand over the reins to Chelsea Macri. 13.01.2022 Forge Farm's Very Romantic Valentine's Day. Leaving Forge Farm at 4.30 for a gentle 2 hour ride along the beautiful kep track. Arriving at Fettler's Crossing at 6.30. Unsaddle the horses and watch them gallop off into the sunset.... Dinner and a complementary drink of your choice, served in the garden lit by fairy lights (not candles obviously!). Leave your horse at Fettler's, when run you back to your car at 8.30pm. We have space for 4 couples on this ride so please book today by phoning Wendy on 0427444051 or e mail [email protected]. Please do not send a message through facebook. This ride can also be purchased as a voucher to give on the day to redeem later.

10.01.2022 FORGE FARM PUB RIDES Our Pub Rides, include a one hour ride to the Chidlow Tavern, tie the horses outside and spend one hour over a delicious meal and a drink before mounting your horse and spending another hour in the saddle back to Forge Farm. However, through summer it is often too hot to ride in the middle of the day.... So........we are offering a Sunday morning breakfast ride to beat the heat. Same deal but start at 8am, enjoy a hearty breakfast, back at Forge Farm by 11am. Price of $145 per rider. If you would like accommodation for the night, so as to be on the spot for an early ride, then we can organize this at a cost of $100 extra per person

08.01.2022 END OF HOLIDAY SPECIAL Enjoy a beautiful one hour trail ride through the forest tomorrow at a special price of $45.00 per rider provided that there are 4 or more riders in the group. Normal price $65. I am taking bookings for the first special at 10.30, second ride at 12noon and third ride at 2pm.... Suitable for all ages and all levels of riding. 06.01.2022 [TERM TWO] With a busy couple of weeks ahead of us, our Term lessons will be starting on May 3rd (Week 3). This will allow both Wendy and myself a chance to settle in to our new routines and also allow our wonderful horses to have a little rest For our returning riders, your lesson day and time will remain the same! And our fantastic team of instructors will also be continuing on as usual. If everyone can please confirm with Chelsea they will be returning via email at [email protected] that would be great!! Gives children an overview of the responsibilities of owning a pony, with an emphasis on fun, care of the animal and safety for the rider.
