23.01.2022 Roughly a week ago our September feature @kitto_katsu had her launch where she held a drop in visual poetry workshop. It was so fun to watch people create a piece of work from lyrics, texts and coloured paper, the joy was in the simplicity of it all! Kitto has a few more workshops this month- THURS 17TH - Throwing Shapes - 6pm-8:30pm and SUN 20TH - Cosmic Love - 11am - 1:30pm. This half day intensive will be covering off social media with Em Readman- talking about the ins and outs, the ups and downs of each platform and how to get the most out of them! Then Amy is going to talk about sales, selling through social media, techniques and tips on how to get yourself and your work out there to find qualified buyers Sunday October 28th, 9-1pm. She’s already installed her window and display in store for you to take a geez at and she’s got a series of workshops that you can come to through October that are all locked and loaded on the website! You can make earrings, a clutch and paint your own silk scarf! Her launch event is on Sat 10th Oct featuring @action.slacks slacks spinning some tunes on the night - come along!

We’re taking a break until Friday 15th January and this would also be a good time to talk about our 2021 hours- Forge will be open Friday 10-5pm and Saturday 9-3pm in the new year. We’ll be focussing on our feature artists and their workshops and Forge centric events- the best way to keep up with everything that is happening is by checking out of website, our stories and signing up to our monthly newsletter! 02.01.2022 YUNGMUNNY is running a half day intensive on Sunday October 18th from 9-1pm and the name of the game is SALES & SOCIALS. Sales will be covering sales techniques, tips and tricks, costing products and your time and some basics of cost modelling! Socials is all about social media and Em Readman knows what’s up, she’ll be going through all the platforms and making your content work for you! You should take this course if you’re an artist, a current or graduate who studied creative industries, are a small business just starting up, are an existing business starting a new brand or launching a new product and/or want to learn about selling yourself and products and wanting to up you social media game!
