Again in 2020, we want you to say #byebyebonbon, save the planet and donate what we would’ve spent on pointless landfill to build a Home for Life in Uganda! Each Home for Life package is individually tailored to the family’s specific needs and usually consists of a culturally appropriate main house, kitchen and pit latrine. ... We also provide basic household items such as beds, mattresses, blankets, sheets & kitchen utensils. Our Home for Life packages are keeping families together. Sharing the love encourages brighter futures for children and young people who would otherwise be at risk of trafficking or slavery or worse. 13.01.2022 Talk about epic final zoom for 2020 with our Global Dream Team! Our incredible champions for children became Chrissy elves tonight, named in honour of their proudest and most memorable achievements for 2020! Some were snapped in this pic It was such a privilege to celebrate all of the awesome things we did and learned in 2020 which make us stronger than ever. ... Our team also shared their heartfelt goals for 2021 which included more of the same (of course!) plus a little extra systems advocacy for even more real and significant change to benefit ALL children growing up in orphanages through no fault of their own! What an extraordinary and remarkable team... our FMN/THIS family... our Global Dream Team... our "beautiful and diverse garden of flowers" ~ DB Lama (Oldie Goldie Elf) Some of our legendary team bounced in and out and some were unable to join due to internet & power outages and tech hiccups - nothing we can't handle And after a long lockdown, this Christmas season we have Reintegration Officers reaching near and far checking in on children who have been reunified with their families RIGHT NOW! 11.01.2022 TROPPOTRIVIA That’s a Wrap! What a fun Tuesday night in we had... Thanks for zooming in, it was great to see you all there, shaking yo pineapples and sharing some laughs and some knowledge. That was our first online Trivia and we were delighted to have you on board for the experience. "You want to be on my team for trivia. I'm pretty good at it! " ~ Scruffo's gang! ... "We on the questions but lots of laughs were had for sure" ~ Pineapple Fritters Her awesomeness Pine-Elope Pizzazzle donated the Zoom 'game show' so that every dollar from ticket sales went straight to our cause. WORD! So together we raised over $500 which is totally awesome and means we will have a lot of families with full bellies in Uganda this Christmas. It's truly wonderful to see such community spirit and care. Thank you!!! The last thing to do is pass out some dope prizes.
