25.01.2022 Cheers & Merry Christmas to all our wonderful travelling friends & followers We hope you and your family enjoy a safe & wonderful day today wherever you are Steve & Bianca xo

25.01.2022 It was this time last year that we started our big lap around Oz . And I tell you what, it was the BEST thing we've ever done and don't regret a minute of it! And guess what, we've returned home and nothing has changed!!! Other then ourselves from the experiences and memories we've made along the way The world didn't end! ... We still have a house to call home. We've returned to our jobs. No big deal! So, if you're thinking of doing it yourself, our advice is to just make it happen! And don't over think it. We met so many people travelling from all walks of life- some in a bus they've done up themselves. Some in a camper trailer. Some renting a caravan. Some travelling full-time, some doing the lap in chunks over the next 5-10 yrs. And you know what. It didn't matter what rig you where in or how long you where travelling for when your seeing a spectacular sight, or sitting around having a yarn with fellow travellers at happy hour. Happy travels for 2020 Steve & Bianca xo

24.01.2022 It's not a trip to Clare Valley without enjoying a delicious lunch at Skillogalee winery @ Skillogalee Winery, Restaurant & Accommodation

24.01.2022 FOR SALE Now that our trip has finished, it’s time to let go of our wonderful Lotus Trooper Will suit a new buyer, who doesn’t want to wait 6 months to have one custom built and wants to save some money! ... The layout really makes this van a pleasure to travel in, with the door at rear for easy access in and out of the van without going near the bedroom, plus the kitchen is on the left side making it great for entertaining. And the solar system setup with lithium batteries is a massive plus for free camping and allowed us to stay fully self sufficient for weeks If you're in the market for a full offroad luxury van and interested in this one, send us a DM

21.01.2022 WHYALLA The weather turned cold & wet again, so not the greatest time to visit, but the old Whyalla ship tour, museum, & Point Lowly Lighthouse where still worth a look We tried to get on a fishing charter but because of the shitty wheather & an upcoming dodge tide it wasn't meant to be. @ Whyalla, South Australia, Australia

19.01.2022 A step back into time at the old Martindale Mannor! Famously used in the movie, Pinic at Hanging Rock Built around 1880's, the sandstone building has a total 32 rooms (with 7 just for the cellar) and is filled with original antique furniture and fittings. Now owned by the government, it's well worth a look if visiting the Clare Valley @ Martindale Hall

17.01.2022 Our tawny frogmouth's still call our place home & have had babies We have been looking out for them since returning home from our big lap and thought we'd lost them But here they are perched on their usual tree, just in time for Christmas. Mum (or maybe dad) above watching over the little two below @ Macedon Ranges Wildlife Network

17.01.2022 After 10 months on the road and 30,000kms later, our big lap around Australia is complete And we're happy to say we had no drama's at all, not even a blown tyre! We've had such an epic time and made many new friends along the way. So glad we did it! ... We've created a video to capture all of the amazing places we've been, highlighting our must see spots of Australia and our own 4x4 adventures towing our offroad van. Make yourself a cuppa and enjoy (it goes for just over 15 mins) Feel free to pop any questions about our trip below and we'll do our best to answer them Thanks for following our journey. 17.01.2022 First time prospecting and even newbies can find gold! @Goldfields, Western Australia

16.01.2022 The beautiful Bunda Cliffs stretch more than 200kms along the Great Australian Bight. Definatley worth a stop or two when crossing the Nullarbor

16.01.2022 A little detour off the Nullarbor are these amazing pink and blue lakes at Lake MacDonnell The pinkest lake we've seen so far on our lap around Oz

14.01.2022 COFFIN BAY / POINT LINCOLN Just one word sums up our stay here and that's 'Oysters!' We stayed in Coffin Bay and used this as a base to explore the area down to Point Lincoln. Each day the cafe next door has an Oyster Happy Hour where you can grab a dozen oysters for the price of 1/2 dozen. So you can guess where we spent every afternoon!!! ... We stumbled across a free range pork farm with a farm gate thanks to wiki camps and a great cafe in Point Lincoln, which was a great reminder that we're getting closer to home with all of this quality fresh produce!

14.01.2022 Relaxing & fishing at Port Augusta It's amazing what can come from making new friends on the road . We scored access to this great holiday shack right on the water and a personalised tour of the region @ Port Augusta, South Australia, Australia

14.01.2022 The actual 100yr+ vines that produce Hill of Grace Henshke Wines

13.01.2022 MILDURA After 9 months on the road we've made it back to Victoria! We were pretty much evicted from good old South Australia! With a long weekend smacked in the centre of school holidays, we just could not get into any caravan parks at all ... So we decided to leave the remaining sights of Adelaide for another trip and headed back to our home state of Victoria We stayed at the Apex caravan park in Mildura right on the Murray River and caught up with some travelling friends for one last hurrah before we part ways. We enjoyed some more wine tasting and a yummy lunch at Trentham Estate Winery. Such a good spot for a lazy sunny afternoon @ Mildura, Victoria

08.01.2022 We've survived crossing the #nullarbor and just like that we're in #SouthAustralia It was a Not so #nallaboring for us! There was heaps of beautiful scenery to keep us busy along the way and we enjoyed free camping! ... _ This is the original Nullarbor Roadhouse which was used up until 1976, when they sealed the road. Not quite the same adventure as back then, but still worth the trip See more

08.01.2022 A favourite crossing the Nullarbor was seeing the Southern Right Whales In amongst one breaching, we counted 8 mums with their calves, but apparently there was 37 out there! They migrate to the head of the Great Australian Bight each winter to give birth and mate, before heading back south. Definatley worth a stop if you're travelling through @ Head of Bight Whale Watching Centre

07.01.2022 #Flashback to Easter last year! We we're stuck in #PortDouglas waiting for #CapeYork to open A bit different to this year, but still mak'n memories I guess! ... Happy Easter everyone! Who's still on the road or camping in their backyards this year?

07.01.2022 Streaky Bay! This is the view directly from the van with our beach front site We loved this little town and made a nice change to relax for a few days after crossing the Nullarbor!
