25.01.2022 Happy hump day! Scarlett Landman & Quantum-Leap 4 Gold shared a special moment this afternoon. We hope this brings a smile to your face!

25.01.2022 Wishing our beautiful first born, ‘Furst-Endeavour 4 Gold’ (Fursten-Look / Aachamedies) a happy 1st birthday today! 365 days ago you entered this world as a weedy, leggy, clumsy but super cute bub! Today you’re sassy, smart, indipendant... but still leggy!!! Here’s to many more birthdays to come miss Evie. ... Enjoy a huge bunch of pics from her journey so far. See more

25.01.2022 Our wonderful CEECOACH headsets are finally back in full time use! If riders would like to use their own earphones please be sure to bring them to your lessons. Highly recommended to minimise sharing between riders, (thanks COVID!!!). Thanks to Scarlett & Rumour for modelling.

24.01.2022 Jam packed day @ SREC Dressage & Showjumping! 3 horses, 5 dressage tests & 3 jump rounds, firstly would like to thank my superstar team of helpers/strappers, Marissa, Adele, Josh & the SREC organisers who held rings for me so I could jump on & off horses all day, literally couldn’t have had such a successful day without you all!! The baby of the team, 4yo Conquest 4 Gold had a super day winning his Prep E on 67% & placing 4th with 65% in his first ever prelim! Popped a...round the 45-50cm with a few baby moments but so proud of this little pony. Cracking kids pony to be!!! Classy by name, Classy by nature! The elegant 5yo, Eversley Classique (owned by the Alexander family), had her dancing shoes on to produce 2 sensational tests finishing with a 2nd in the Prelim 1C on 69% & a 3rd in the Prelim 1A on 66%. We then went on to cruise around the 60cm SJ for a lovely calm round. The sweet Leeara Park Royal Delight (owned by the Blissett family) popped around the Prelim 1A to show some beautiful moments, with some more exposure he’s going to make a superb little pony! We then had some baby moments in the 45-50cm SJ, overall I am super proud of this pony... and boy can he jump! Thanks again to the SREC team, 4 Gold Equestrian team & supporters for your help! Special thanks to our wonderful team of sponsors.

21.01.2022 Little miss ’Lollie’checking herself out this morning! This lovely little mare will be on the market within the next few weeks. She will make an awesome competitive child’s mount!

20.01.2022 Sharing for our fellow breeders! These nasty buggers have taken 2 unborn foals from us. Be very cautious, the hairy caterpillar hairs are toxic for humans, dogs & horses. They cause miscarriages, stillborn & deformed foals. If you see them, remove them immediately!!!!

18.01.2022 Friday morning was spent coaching Soraya with my new assistant.. A pigeon Definitely an odd experience!! So much personality in one little bird ... Sound on for the full experience.. See more

16.01.2022 4 Gold Equestrian Presents NSJ ELEGANCE Affectionately known as Lollie - sweet by name, sweet by nature!... Lollie is a beautiful 6yo, 13hh registered mare sired by the spectacular Bamborough Paramount out of Koonama Tickled Pink (Imperial Rembrandt). As her breeding suggests, she is a beautifully put together mare with loads of potential! With 3 great paces & a great foundation, this mare is the perfect mount for a passionate & competitive child rider to compete in all disciplines. Lollie is training Novice dressage, loves to jump, has done some cross country, beach rides, trail rides etc. & has proven herself to be a very quick learner. She is excellent to handle, float, wash, clip up etc. A real genuine competitive kids mount, especially on the ground. Lollie has had a very limited competition career, however as a young horse competed for numerous ridden & led champions @ shows in NSW, including the Northern NSW Youngstock show. I have no doubts she will be a winner with her new rider in the show, dressage, combined training, showjumping, pony club, Interschool & EA rings - she is destined for big things!! Lollie was ridden by 4 Gold Equestrian students Scarlett Landman (8yo) & Leila Alexander (11yo) for her photoshoot. She was perfectly behaved for the girls & was more than happy to ride around other horses. This photoshoot was done off our property & she was completely unfazed by the new atmosphere. The girls handled her entirely by themselves. Lollie is currently in full work with a professional rider & is ready for viewings. No injuries/soundness issues, completely healthy & up to date with all vaccinations, worming, farrier etc. Vet checks welcome. Please no beginners, first time pony owners or dreamers. This is a top quality pony who deserves a highly competitive & ambitious rider/family - I truly believe she has what it takes to be a champion in all disciplines! 7000 Greenbank 0439040987

16.01.2022 Some of our #4goldequestrian team ventured out to a few local comps this weekend! Lots of personal bests, placings, results & light bulb moments. Phoebe taking out 1st & 5th, Alisha Gent taking out 1st & 5th, Scarlett Landman placing top 5 with her pony Rumour & Scarlett rode our beautiful Welsh pony 'Cookie' (Conquest 4 Gold) to finish with 2 x 3rds! Only Cookies 2nd outing carting his 8yo rider around beautifully. This pony is an absolute cracker! Bella wasn't quite her...self so I retired from 1 test & finished the 2nd test much happier. Listen to your horses people! Not worth forcing them through something they're not happy with. Their health & wellbeing is much more important! We also had Hollie Hodges & Leila Alexander @ BPC Gymkhana both taking out age champion & tying for 'highest points of the day', Hollie taking it home on a count back. Jessie Erickson had a cracker SJ round & finishing 7th overall! Tahni Jordan took her pony Shae out for their first event back after an injury. Tracey Bavinton competed her big boy 'Rambo' for some placings @ the local t-shirt hack day. A huge weekend for all. Thanks to everyone for your support amongst our 4 Gold Equestrian family - so great to hear our team cheering other riders on! Thats what its all about. #Going4Gold

14.01.2022 Super proud of #4goldequestrian students Hollie Hodges, Scarlett Landman & Arianna Sing for their awesome efforts @ last weeks 2020 PCQ State SJ & JE event! All 3 of you have worked tirelessly this year, despite majority of our events being cancelled thanks to COVID. It was wonderful to watch you all out competing, having fun & walking away with some fantastic results! Hollie Hodges (14yo) finishing with 7th overall in her Jumping Equitation & 13th/40 in the showjumping.... Hollie was riding her young horse Mav @ their first State comp, what a great feat!! Arianna Sing (10yo) riding Banksia finished their first state event with not one, but TWO reserve champions in the showjumping & equitation! Ari has been working super hard & continued to improve over the 4 days. Scarlett Landman, the youngest of my students @ only 8yo, also had a great finish in her first state event!! Finishing 6th overall in the showjumping & 11th overall in the Equitation. Amazing results for such a young kid. #4goldequestrian #Going4Gold #4goldequestrianstudents

02.01.2022 Just love this. Well worth a read! Appreciate your trainer. We spend way more hours at work than you could even imagine. We are here six if not seven days a week every week. We work holidays. We work weekends. And just because our office is outside and we get to be surrounded by beautiful animals the whole time does not mean we aren’t working. The barn to you is your sanctuary. It’s your escape. It’s your place to vent. Your place to relax. Your place to unwind. That is n...ot what the barn is to us. While we have moments of serenity when everything is quiet, this is still our job. We are still on the clock. We still need to be on our game. Always. Our job is not just riding. We deal with all of you every day. Long before and long after we have come and gone from the barn. During dinners. During drinks with friends. During family time. On days off. We are here for you. We care. We care more than you could ever know. Each and every horse is a part of our soul. We know their mannerisms. We meticulously watch their weight, their movement, monitor what they eat and how much of it, how much they work, whether they are happy doing their job, and how to make them go in a way that pleases you without jeopardizing them. We stay up late with them if they are sick. We write down every time they batted an eyelash wrong. And we remember what they need when. We take pride in them going well for you. We listen to every flaw you find with them, even if it is in fact your flaw, and try to help them do their job better. When you are unhappy with how they go, we take it as a personal failure, and strive to never let it happen again, even if your expectations are unreasonable. We bend over backwards to make your horse perfect, even if what you’re asking for is a horse without spirit, or personality. We stand up for them when we can, trying our best not to make you upset in the process. They are our life’s work, and we know them inside and out. We listen to you. Whether you are rational or not. We remain calm when you bring the stress of your day job to the barn and take it all out on your horse and on us. We pick up the pieces when you’ve been unforgiving with your horse, who was simply surprised by your lack of patience after a long day. We are their rock, their shoulder to cry on, and yours. When we go home, we still reply to your texts and your emails and your calls. We are never off the clock. We take in stride as best we can your rants of frustration when your horse or your riding isn’t exactly where you want it to be exactly when you want it. We take the blame. For you. For your horse. For the rest of your life. For everything. And yet here we are. Still showing up. Still being here for you. For your horse. No matter how you treat us. Regardless of whether you deserve us. We are here. Appreciate your trainer. - author unknown
