21.01.2022 . Today was one of those days. My anxiety beat me. ... After a slight little lapse. It made me realize my strength.... empathy... I hate making feel a certain. I posted my worries & anxiety about certain things Going on & the response was more worries & anxiety back. I felt terrible I let my anxiety get ahead of me.... AND IN TURN... . 20.01.2022 . On my stories yesterday I was killing time (procrastinating) & was doing a pregnancy Q&A. The final Q asked was how did I tell my partner I was pregnant. It sparked the most amazing memory for me. When we fell pregnant with Sienna, Aidy got to tell me I was pregnant ....one of my top moments of my life.... During IVF it's such a robotic, impersonal experience. You literally know every step of the way. Day 1 do this, Day 4 do that. Day after day. After the embryo transfer, you have a 2 week wait. it is highly not recommended to take a pregnancy test because you're on such a higher volume of hormones, it can give false results..... So you have to wait until you do a blood test, then the nurses call you & give you the "results". Which in our case for years was always a negative. I found this part of the process the hardest. I hated that a stranger told me my dreams & really struggled so much. It's a necessary step of the process but I was usually always home alone, it was just always really sad. So I decided to get the nurses to call Aidan so he could hold me & tell me. It was the day of the results & I was trying to get myself busy in the office. I was a mess. This round meant so much to us because we made the plunge of changing doctors, did a huge trip to Sydney. . The nurses accidentally called me, I quickly said "NO NO NO YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO CALL AIDAN". She hung up quickly (or maybe I on her ) Her voice sounded so negative & I knew That was it, it was negative. I had given up in that very moment. Aidan calls sounding so sad I could hear him crying, he's like I"m coming home. I break down on the floor. Everything feels so heavy on my shoulders. I can't breathe. I can't move. I hear the roller door go up. This is it, at least Aidan is able to hold me this time. He comes in, crying his eyes out. I can't bear to look at him. He's like "what are you doing? Get up. You're pregnant". I fell into his arms & we both to the floor crying. It was the most amazing moment of my life. See more

18.01.2022 For years, I've struggled with back pain. For as long as I can remember, it has held me back. If we're at events, I worry if there's no seating as I will be crippled in pain if I have to stand for too long. If we're to go on a drive, even if it's just to the Burdekin. I will be in so much pain. If I'm at the gym. I have this huge fear if what I am doing will bring consequences the next day.... With the kids, all the twisting & turning, lifting & putting down, will make me so sore by the end of the day I'm in pain that it makes me cranky & irritable. Fear of going to sleep because when I wake up, my pain could be worse. Finding that balance between strengthening my core but maintaining my mobility has been a journey in itself. Understanding that especially now as I'm getting older, 2-3 gym days is more than enough & that's ok. If you're struggling with back pain, it's important to know that it won't always be there, every single day. But it is a journey of lots of trials & errors that you can't figure out on your own & someone who understands you can help with. 12.01.2022 .. Brene brown Today I was Speaking about my mental health on my stories. If you missed it give it a listen. It all started with reading the terrible comments from media and many other human beings about Kanye wests latest extremely Public mental health battle. It brings great awareness to how mental illness can be viewed by many people including the media. And how far we are away at understanding this illness. Love or loat...he the person, mental illness is no joke. Someone lashing out is never what it seems to the outside but of something much much deeper on the inside. I spoke about my own mental health. Suffering with anxiety & being on anti anxiety medication to help me get through the day. My anxiety comes out in different ways that to others may seem like I’m a control freak , obsessive or highly strung. I worry about what’s going to happen next on an extreme level & on the outside it seems simple but to me it’s not. But what’s going on in the inside is that it starts off with a little knock just in the inside of my head from some form of a trigger. Then as the day goes by with the many other stressors of life adding to the knock, it becomes a loud bang. I hate touch & I hate loud noises. This is when it’s peaking and not much can really bring me back down. I usually will lash out to those closest to me. Whatever lives inside of me is screaming, scratching, banging. It’s fucking horrid. It’s so hard to explain mental health and a beautiful lady wrote today that it’s even hard to explain when you’re the sufferer. I think for me the worst part is mental health is just being stuck in your head & seeming like your watching your life at times from the outside. I guess what I’m trying to say today, is before you judge something or someone, that seems simple or even unexplainable from the outside remember that it’s never simple. So many of us are suffering this internal battle that you can’t get out of. It’s stuck in your head, literally. See more

10.01.2022 ? This is a HUGE topic I'm going to cover in my new Train With Me. Do you put yourself down with the pressure of weight loss? I caught a few of my friends saying some very untrue things about themselves this week.... I had to give them some hard truths. They are HEALTHY. They are so beautiful &&&&& man are they so strong in more ways than physical. I can understand having weight loss as a goal but if it is ruining your confidence it just isn't worth it. & . To loose weight requires a shit tonne of pressure but it requires A LOT of sacrifice... socially...mentally & physically. I'm not saying that you should never have a weight loss goal but if it is causing you so much sadness & speaking to yourself in such a terrible manor... & & . If you are speaking to yourself in a way that you would never dare speak to your Mum, your best friend, your colleague, your partner, your daughter, your son... This isn't good enough. You deserve better & a lot more positivity. You are your best friend. so treat yourself like it. See more

05.01.2022 What comes first, a mental change or a physical change? Here barely 48kg, barely a size 6. I spoke on my stories what I was going through mentally. It was impacting me heavily physically. Rigorous amounts of exercise, under weight, i thought I was ok tho. No one really knew what we were going through. I was in complete denial of not only how I was feeling but the entire process. . . What I’ve learnt is with mental health is that you do hide. You hide your feelings not only f...rom everyone else but mainly yourself. I wasn’t even aware I had anxiety until years later, it was confusing not understanding how you’re feeling. I wish I sort of did know so I could’ve understood. But one thing I am so grateful for this entire experience is my empathy for others dealing with mental health. If you have a friend who is hiding, just understand its because they have no fkn idea how they’re feeling or think that’s the best way they know how to deal. 04.01.2022 As the current train with me program comes to a close, it's got me thinking about all the amazing women who signed up to the 8 weeks. As I'm writing my final thanks, I've asked them to write 3 things down that they're proud of throughout the last 8 week. To me signing up to something new should be number 1, because that can be daunting in itself. Now I don't care whether you do 1 workout, 10 workouts.... Who cares. I feel like if you've walked away learning something new... you didn't know before or it's sparked some motivation to get outside more or even thought about how you can adjust your routine a little bit to food prep more or fit in a bit of me time... Then a job well done You get to keep these programs forever. These programs to me aren't about challenges. Do it with the most amazing people honestly it doesn’t matter if you do Pilates, yoga, walk, run, ride, swim, lift weights.... it’s always the company that brings you back each time. I’ve watched so many wonderful friendships form over the years at studio 7 & now within forme. It’s brought friends back together, new friendships form, old friendships reunite, mother & daughter time. And for me it’s their company that makes it feel like a lifestyle & not a job.
