Third gear went bang - box full of gears but all in the wrong spot. Bloody Rod

20.01.2022 SANDOWN // It has been an eventful day for Team WA. Rod had a big off through the esses and unfortunately ended up in the wall. Thanks to the sportsmanship of our FVA community, many hands made light work and Rod was able to head back out on track for R3 - but had to retire early. It was fierce competition in the 1200’s with Mackenzie and Kathy pushing hard and progressing throughout the weekend.... Dave Caisley showed competitive pace throughout the weekend whilst struggling with a few mechanical issues. Superstar Cody Hill was a top performing WA competitor finishing just outside the top ten in 11th. Danny and Apes both tackled their weekend at Sandown with the support of Reynolds Racing and JRD. Danny made some great progress and got quicker throughout the weekend while Apes gave the wall a little love tap in R2 this morning but set a PB in her lap times and finished the weekend where she started in 20th. All in all another great weekend over East and looking forward to Sydney Motorsport Park in a few weeks. Thanks to Formula Vee Association of Victoria - FVAV for hosting a ripper event.

In honor of our life member and dear friend, we were proud to hold the first Gerry Prosser Memorial race to kick start the 2020 season. Gerry and Kay Prosser have been instrumental in the success and growth of Formula Vee in WA. It was fantastic to have the Prosser extended family join us at the track over the weekend as we shared stories and memories ...of Gerry. We know he looked over us and will continue to do so! We miss you mate Well done Team Caisley Racing and Andrew Lockett - we know this win means lots!!!

15.01.2022 ROUND 8 - COLLIE COALFIELDS 500 // FVAWA has had another cracker of a weekend in Collie with several members camping and staying together making it a fantastic social weekend off the track. The action on the track did not disappoint - as usual! Whilst some were still familiarizing themselves with the track extension, others got in the groove rather quickly. Congrats to our podium placers (unfortunately no 3rd position trophies for this round) ... 1600CC 1st - Austin Pearson 2nd - Rod Lisson 1200CC 1st - Franz Esterbauer 2nd - Jack Sheldon

14.01.2022 Just Checking. Can anyone else do 6,500 RPM in reverse? :-) Sorry Anthony Lees. Also does anyone know how many times you can use your brakes after all of your master cylinders have gone.

12.01.2022 POSTERS // Introducing the class of 2019 - whether you’ve always been an original Lockett supporter and now excited to see young Andrew follow in the footsteps of greatness or maybe you follow Formula Vee for someone who has the elite skill, professional branding and status (as FVAWA President) of Rod Lisson. You might be interested to see the increasing number of young competitors coming up through the ranks and taking on the front runners - keep an eye out for gun Mackenzie... Matthews or maybe you’re all about the girl power and can’t wait to see the talent of Steph Esterbauer kick but in the 1600’s... 09.01.2022 TAILEM BEND // Team WA has all arrived safely... despite the odd wildlife (road kill) encounters!

09.01.2022 Nothing hits home more than the affects of a natural disaster on one of our own. It’s not just someone on TV it’s one of our FV family. If you can, please assist.

09.01.2022 One of the great benefits of our annual poster is we are left with a pictorial history of drivers and cars of the past. This one from 2006 season, recently block mounted by Kathy Lisson, highlights some absolute legends of the club. Take a walk down memory lane to 2006, a Nationals year in WA

09.01.2022 You know it doesn’t matter where around the world you race Formula Vees, the fundamentals, competition, inclusion, help and friendships are the same both on and off the track. That’s why we love it so much and why you too should get your behind in a Vee ! Great to see the FV passion in the USA.

02.01.2022 We've cracked open the vault and have recently been sharing some of our favourite racing memories - the good, the bad and the ugly! In these challenging times we thought we would make it easier for our racing fans with lots of racing action and happy snaps from our interstate travels. We hope it isn't long before we are back on the black stuff soon but for the time being, share your favourite FVAWA pics to contribute to our album

01.01.2022 FAMILY / SPONSOR DRIVE DAY // The 2019 drive day was another success as we witnessed many jump behind the wheel of a Formula Vee for the first time! We were honoured to have WASCC royalty Vaughn Brewer join us for a taste of open wheeler action. There were plenty of smiles as we were able to share our passion for Formula Vee with our family, friends and sponsors. A big thank you to Dave Walker for volunteering his time this afternoon to ensure everyone on and off track was sa...fe and able to enjoy our annual event. What a Thursday arvo!

01.01.2022 SMP // Happy snaps from a fantastic weekend!

01.01.2022 Live in 5 Race 3 on VTV Facebook Page

01.01.2022 A fantastic write up in Auto Action this week as it clearly shows the competitiveness of Formula Vee racing in WA. Last corner of the last lap of 2020 for the 1600’s and no quarter given, mainly because they had every quarter of the track covered. 4 wide in the braking zone for Turn 7.......was never going to work. ... But in motor racing it ain’t over til it’s over. Bring on 2021.

01.01.2022 Rod Lisson asked for this to be posted. Someone please tag him. Very glad he walked away and I’m completely amazed the car made race 3.
