13.01.2022 ****IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT**** Dear VSCRC Competitors, Category Reps and Officials The Victorian Mini Club Inc, the promoting club for round 5 of the Victorian ...State Circuit Racing Championships, wish to advise with great disappointment of the cancellation of the 5th round of the Victorian State Circuit Racing Championships, which was to be held at Phillip Island on the 26th and 27th of September. As you are aware that as a result of the Covid 19 pandemic many of us have been in lockdown on two occasions and the new round of restriction and the implementation of the Stage 4 Restrictions have been factors contributing to this decision. The new legislation limiting movement away from our homes as well as the health & wellbeing of competitors and officials, and availability of medical resources have impacted on our ability to comply. Ultimately these could not be guaranteed leaving us with no option. We explored a number of options in order to proceed with the event, including restructuring the event itself, but unfortunately current circumstances mean that we cannot continue with the uncertainty of the near future. We are terribly disappointed as are the other clubs involved in VSRS and the Victorian State Circuit Racing Championships. We are hopeful that in the future rounds of the championships will be able to proceed. We would like to acknowledge the assistance given to us by Motorsport Australia, Phillip Island Operations and Executive of the Victorian State Race Series Inc, Ambulance Victoria and the Victorian Motor Race Panel. OLTs will be taking place on Friday (19/02/21), and are now available for entry online via Event Entry (https://evententry.motorsport.org.au/events/details/2353). ... If you wish to also compete on the weekend, we ask that you do this as two (2) seperate entries as below (to ensure a refund is provided if you do not pass the OLT): -Observed Licence Test (OLT) - ONLY (this occurs Friday) -Event (Saturday, Sunday).
