04.01.2022 DREADS 4 DOSH - UPDATE! Well Guys I have so many words yet I am almost speechless!! The last few weeks have been amazing! As I've mentioned before I really had ...no idea what to expect when embarking on this journey, and true to that every day provides a new chapter in what will be one of the greatest things I've ever been involved in. So many stories, so many conversations, so many laughs and so many tears, so much support and unbelievable generosity! The minion's eyes are nearly as big as mine!! - over $13,000! less keep it goin! In the last few weeks: AVNER changed it's name to PanKind, The Australian Pancreatic Cancer Foundation (sorry I didn't publicise this sooner, but I've had limited internet). Their cause and work is still the same but do go check out their web page - https://pankind.org.au/ I had a great time with a mate of mine talking about our journey through life and the mining industry, the good times and the bad, as well as his personal connection to the Motor Neurone Disease Association of WA and the impact this disease had on him and his family. My best mate got Dreads too!! and we travelled 3,000km across this great state with a bunch of blokes that are more than mates they are family! Amazing how many blues trees we saw, with each one sparking a conversation over the two way about Blue Tree Project and mental health. Even stopped in at the family farm and checked in on the folks (and their money jar too!) We did a spot of fishing on WA's great coast - with some great stories and pics to come! Returning to Kalgoorlie half way through Movember with a mo that is worth taking a pic of, and with only 2 weeks of Dreads 4 Dosh to run the support and donations and messages are just mind blowing! 02.01.2022 54 years.... and what have I learnt? What lessons still remain, whilst I live on this earth? Challenges are inevitable, let them forge your strengthened fire, T...he one that carries you from your fears and toward your hopes and desires. Joy comes in the simple things, the moments captured when you take a breath, Forgiveness frees YOU up to live in peace, all the life you have left. Anger resolves nothing it merely festers deep within, residing in the liver, it’s where ‘dis-ease’ begins. Love is always the answer, it’s the global currency. In a world at times bankrupt - let’s focus on our humanity. Love and blessings T
