25.01.2022 Just a reminder families that we are back this week. Please look out for an email or message via Story park about this term. We look forward to welcoming all the new families commencing this term and all our returning families.

25.01.2022 A huge thank you to Creative Play Australia for making our Kindy Jeep. The students have had so much fun playing in and on it, since it arrived. We have been to the beach, the zoo, the shops and to the moon in it!! Thank you to all the families who helped our fundraising drive last term selling Cadbury Chocolates. The money you fundraised has paid for this piece of equipment.

24.01.2022 From tomorrow students are required to bring their own cut fruit for fruit time in a container clearly labeled with their name. Visitors to kindy will be required to wash their hands upon entry or use the hand sanitizer which will be located on the sign in table.This includes students, parents/guardians and siblings. When dropping your child off if you do not need to stay we are asking families to leave promptly. All parents are asked to wait outside when arriving to pick up their child. Miss B or Sharon will open the doors and dismiss students as parents arrive. These are measures Forrestdale Kindy have taken to prevent the spread of COVID - 19.

23.01.2022 Just a reminder term 4 commences this week. We can't wait to see all our wonderful families back and to welcome the new families starting this term.

22.01.2022 It is with great sadness that we have temporarily suspended our Wednesday class for the remainder of term 1. We understand parents concerns surrounding COVID-19 and hope to see all families return in the near future. Tuesday class will go ahead next week (Tuesday 31st March), however the state government issued a statement today informing all schools will close from the end of Friday 3 April. This means there will be no kindy class on Tuesday 7th April.... We wish all families the best moving forward through these uncertain times and to stay healthy. Miss B and Sharon will check in with families through Storypark over the holidays so make sure you have accepted your invitation and downloaded the app. Thank you for your understanding in these worrying times. We will keep you up to date when Kindy will reopen next term.

21.01.2022 What a fantastic Book Week we have had!! From all the different costumes to the students sharing their favourite books. We also had a few special guests pop in this week; Wheres Wally, Queen of Hearts, Little Red Riding Hood, a Giraffe that cant dance, a pirate and Captain Underpants.

18.01.2022 Another great day at the zoo despite a few rain showers. We managed to stay dry. Thank you to the parents who volunteered their time to help on the excursion today.

18.01.2022 Just a reminder class photos next week. All students will have their photo taken first thing in the morning. Photos are optional and you should have received an order form in your childs communication folder. It is preferred that you order any photos on line using the special code on the order form. Wednesday class, as it clashes with the zoo excursion, please arrive by 8.45am so that we can leave for the zoo straight after. If you did not receive an order form please comment and we will send you a copy via Storypark.

08.01.2022 Hello, just a quick update to let you all know I’m out of hospital and on the slow road to recovery. I have all the drains and staples taken out now. I’m off the antibiotics. I’m having to take things slowly because my lung is not fully inflated yet, so I get puffed out quickly. I’m hoping to come in and visit when I’m allowed to drive. Looking forward to seeing you all soon. Be good for Miss B, Courtney and Erin. Love Sharon xxx

07.01.2022 Just a reminder that our Zoo excursion is this week for our Tuesday and Thursday classes. The bus is arriving at 9am. Kindy doors will open 8.40am. Students need to have their hats, water bottle, cut fruit and lunch in throw away containers/zip lock bags. Please make sure everything is labelled with your child's name. Please make sure your child wears comfortable walking shoes. Parent helpers please check you emails tomorrow regarding information about the excursion. Wednesday class will be going to the zoo 11th November.
