24.01.2022 Thanks to our great customers Forrestdale Laundromat is proud to have been able to renew our team sponsorship with the Harrisdale Hawks Tee-Ball Club for a further season! Whilst registrations have closed - there are still placements available for the Year 4 (Under 10) and Year 5 (Under 11) teams. Please keep attending - every customer is a valued customer and is important to us 2. During the wash / dry cycles please return to your car / wait outside. Whilst we have large internal space it will ensure we can continue to comply with the current indoor gathering restrictions 3. As a small family business we rely on you - our valued customers. 21.01.2022 Some great changes are coming to Forrestdale Laundromat over the next few weeks. In preparation we have improved our WiFi system which you will notice some changes when you connect. Once connected, you will be prompted via a website for the guest password (which is on the screen inside the laundromat). This continues to be a free service provided to our customers. Simply enter the password to connect - simple!

17.01.2022 We are open all long weekend - opening at 6AM and closing at 9PM. During wet weather we do experience higher demand for the equipment - especially the dryers. Please be aware of fellow customers that may be waiting to use them by promptly removing your items once they are finished.

13.01.2022 We are on the lookout for a missing doona that was accidently taken today at 1250 from a washing machine at Forrestdale Laundromat - this customer has inadvertently left their actual doona behind in another machine. If you can please contact us on 0447 023 400 so we can arrange these to swapped to the correct owners.

12.01.2022 The credit card facility attached to the on-site token machine is currently unavailable and wont be restored until Sunday 2nd May. If you need to use credit card today the Dexter Pay mobile application is available with instructions availabe in-store. Alternatively you can visit Byford Laundromat with our store tokens interchangeable between all our locations.

10.01.2022 Yes we remain open. To comply with current government guidelines Forrestdale Laundromat is to be limited to no more then 6 people inside. To ensure everyones safety and to help us with these restrictions please: 1. One person per family at a time inside... 2. Sort / fold your laundry at home 3. Wait outside whilst your laundry is in the machines We have additional signage on the entry doors, inside the laundromat and also information on the advertising screens.

10.01.2022 Why wait? Just a reminder during these peak periods (during wet weather) Forrestdale Laundromat does experience peak periods which may result in a wait to get access to the dryers. Instead of waiting Byford Laundromat is only 10 minutes way and has more dryers that are readily available. In most cases the travel time will be less then your waiting time.

09.01.2022 Just like personnel exercise all dryers have a cool down period (no heat) at the end of the cycle to remove excessive heat from the clothes before folding. Our set time is among the lowest in the industry so you get maximum value from your money! To reduce waiting it is important to add additional time you require before the final 2 minutes. At any time during the cycle the door can be opened to check and extra money can be added - dont forget to press the START button to add the time to your dryer pocket! As a reminder an average dryer load would be $4-$5 (28-35 minutes) depending on the fabrics. There is no need to run our dryers for 90+ minutes.

06.01.2022 So did you know Forrestdale Laundromat has been open for 3 years - and your tough plant has survived all that time! It has been watered with many fluids, picked at and snapped yet still stood strong. It may have been used as a door stop by the odd customer but never stolen! Yet its time to retire to the grandmas garden to make room for more seating! In the next 2 days we will be modifying the old vending machine wall and installing additional seating. Its the little things that excite us now

06.01.2022 We know you enjoy the phone charger but please dont take the cables like a customer did Monday night around 6:30pm. It may seem a small thing. Every act of vandalism is followed up on and in this instance a police report has been made and the CCTV footage - including the vehicle - provided with the report. On a positive vibe it will be back up and running shortly!

If you do something wrong you will be noticed - and we actively work with the police to followup reportable incidents. Whilst we encourage and promote a safe and family focused environment - please remember that unattended laundry is at your own risk and we are unable to assist without a police report being lodged. 05.01.2022 To ensure you have a great experience each time you visit we proactively undertake regular maintenance on the equipment - a lot you dont see. Whilst other locations will have constant drain issues this proves our locations run the best systems in Perth. We even caught a spoon that was able to make its way out of the machine! Also mums rule applies - check your pockets so you are not donating to the washing lady

04.01.2022 Following the recent WA Government announcement all customers from 6PM tonight are to wear a mask. Please continue to register your attendance via the SafeWA app before entering. To ensure you can continue to hygienically clean your laundry items Forrestdale Laundromat will continue to remain open during our normal operating hours.

04.01.2022 The cooler weather is coming - this will bring as we saw last week a significant increase in dryer usage. To ensure fair use please ensure you promptly remove your drying. Most dryer cycles can be completed 28-35 minutes - you dont need to run a cycle for 90 minutes like you would on a home dryer. We have 30 dryers located across our network with other locations at Byford Laundromat and South Perth Laundromat.... If you do experience any unforeseen problems please contact us on 0447 023 400.

02.01.2022 Unfortunately both the 18.1kg machines are current out of service and will be back online tonight. In the meantime there are two available at Byford Laundromat which is a short drive up Tonkin Highway.

01.01.2022 We have sought guidance from the Small Business Development Corporation WA in relation to the governments announcement overnight of social gatherings being reduced to 2. There is currently no "essential service" business list and as such Forrestdale Laundromat is still operating within current guidelines. We require ALL customers to continue to follow the published social distancing guidelines and adhere to the maximum people inside as noted on our entry doors. Whilst personnel hygiene is well published it is also strongly recommended clothes are washed daily. As this is a frequent question being received we have requested they consider this in future community messaging.
