25.01.2022 TO OUR VALUED CUSTOMERS From midnight tonight, The Point Hotel Group will take over the management of the Crescent Head Tavern. Please note that we will be clos...ed for a few days while we make some initial improvements to the venue. Some of these changes won’t be immediately visible (like kitchen upgrades, new point of sale system and ‘tap and go’) but we know they’ll make a big difference to how we service our customers. We’ll spend a few days scrubbing, sweeping, cleaning, planting, painting and preening to get our venue ready to re-open. And when we do, we hope you can ‘drop in’. We know how much the local community and visiting families love our venue so we’ll be putting as much effort as we can to make this the best pub in the valley! P.S - Check out this photo that was installed on the Pacific Highway prior to the original venue opening in the 80's...

25.01.2022 BISTRO UPDATE... Thank you to all of the guests who dined with us last night - the feedback has been extremely positive. There were a couple of minor hiccups wi...th some of our systems and we've already made a few changes in preparation for our dinner service this evening. Please relax, enjoy a few drinks and remain patient while we work through any teething issues. It's a brand new kitchen with new chefs and support staff who're working hard to bring you food like this! And don't forget we're now open for lunch from 12pm til 2pm!

19.01.2022 Yep, you got it - The Roy's will be hitting the stage at 3pm this afternoon. So drop in to the Tavern for lunch, find yourself a good spot and settle in for the show. We ask that you kindly follow the COVID-19 directions of our staff so we can continue to bring live music to our venue.

17.01.2022 We all agree Crescent Head is the place to take a break from all the hassles and stress.

13.01.2022 WE'RE CLOSING EARLY... Please note that the Crescent Head Tavern and bottle shop will be closing early this evening. We thought that the bosses had given us an ...early mark to go for a surf but we've actaully got a staff meeting planned. Part of that session will involve training key staff on our new cocktail menu which we'll be launching soon. So from 7pm this evening, our doors will be closed to the public. We'll be back at it tomorrow though at the usual time and hope to see you there. P.S - We'd also like to thank Steve DaRos for giving us permission to use this outstanding photo in our marketing communications. Thanks Steve!

13.01.2022 The Crescent Head community is coming together to support 17-year-old Hamish Cook and his family after the teenager was seriously injured following an accident in the water at Crescent Head last month.

04.01.2022 Few more photos from the walks around the Wilson River it is around 2 1/2 hour drive from ForRest Bush & Surf Retreat but you need a four wheel drive as can be rough in parts. Don't follow Google Maps advice on shortest route, unless you really love 4x4 exploring, to get there go via Telegraph Point, off the Pacific Highway, heading towards Port Macquarie. https://www.nationalparks.nsw.gov.au//wilson-river-picnic-

03.01.2022 Happy Sunday I hope you are all getting the roast ready. I'd just like to do a shout out for Dry July Foundation. All through July lots of people stop drinking booze to raise money for cancer support and research. You can join in or donate at www.dryjuly.com or you can contribute to my Dry July at https://www.dryjuly.com/users/john-debrincat-2.

03.01.2022 Our Bistro might be closed tonight, but you can still get an awsome feed. Fresh Seafood and Pizza - available every Monday night at the Tavern!

03.01.2022 It’s important to keep the habitat for small birds. They are important to our ecosystem and also very cute.
