Brit has worked with Active OOSH for almost 10 years and has coordinated our Pacific Palms program for the last 4 years. 21.01.2022 Lots happening this week, with the children loving the outdoors and being very creative in role play as they created their own gymnastics class, and some boys enjoying the new GRAVITRAX!

21.01.2022 Today we got our Masterchef on with lots of fun in the kitchen!! Pizza muffins, fruit rockets and chocolate muffins! The kids loved learning new cooking skills and getting to eat the yummy treats at the end We will see you on Monday for our last day of the holidays!!

20.01.2022 Tomorrow is Police Academy Day, and we will be joining it with bike and scooter day! So bring your wheels and your safety equipment as the police academy will be out to make sure we are being safe

19.01.2022 Sooo much happening in the first few days of VACATION CARE!! We started with OOSH Olympics, the kids loved battling it out in our massive tug of war! We had space day yesterday with lots of dress ups, paper rocket launching and nerf wars! Today we have been getting messy and creative! With painting, fairy gardens, kinetic sand and drawing!!

19.01.2022 Active OOSH has a ‘No hat No Play’ Policy as we are a Cancer Council Sun Smart Service! We will be enforcing this throughout the school holidays, ensuring everyone in the sun has a hat and sunscreen on. Our lovely girls are modeling our appropriate hats as we are recommending children to wear bucket or wide brimmed hats to make sure they are SunSmart!

17.01.2022 OUR AWESOME OOSHIES Over the past two weeks during vacation care, all the staff have kept an eye out for children always doing the right thing, they are always polite to staff, always helping and kind to others, always willing to help clean up, are happy to give everything a go and participate in all activities and always have a huge smile on their faces! It was a very hard decision as there were many outstanding children. However, these holidays two children from each year were chosen and rewarded today with a prize and here are some of our winners!!

12.01.2022 Dear Families, We have become aware of distressing reports about a very graphic video circulating on social media platforms. The Australian Government’s eSafety Commissioner and National Suicide Prevention Adviser to the Prime Minister have released a joint statement which advises parents, carers and educators against drawing young people’s attention to the issue unnecessarily, so as not to peak curiosity. Our Educators have been informed about the situation and will be k...eeping a close eye on the children in our care so that they can respond to any child who may have seen or heard about this content. Parents will also be notified of any child who is at risk of having seen or heard about such content. Social Media Apps are not installed or permitted on any Active OOSH devices, and children bringing their own devices are not allowed to use social media platforms while at OOSH. 11.01.2022 Only 1 more week left of term!! Lots of fun things programmed, we are super excited for the holidays, make sure your child is booked in to secure their spot!!

11.01.2022 So many new activities came out this week from bringing out new and old toys!! The kids have been loving the old car track and building tracks around the room. Lots of active activities, like dodgeball, tennis, fixty games and sandpit building. The dolls and babies have been well loved as well this week!! We are excited to be preparing for the holidays and all the fun to continue

10.01.2022 We have loved getting active and creative over the past few weeks and with some new sports equipment we are excited to test it out!!!

09.01.2022 Wrapping up last week we had Winter Wonderland, filled with lots of marshmallows, slime, snow globes, and snow launchers. Then Movie madness on Friday, with icecream and popcorn!!

08.01.2022 Woo! What a week. In our lead up to the holidays we were super busy keeping both our mind and bodies active! We made mini pizzas (Yum!), had a trivia afternoon, swung and climbed on the fixed equipment and hunted for some mysterious treasure, just to name a few! Thursday we had lots of fun with carnival games, face paint, hairspray and jellybean guessing competitions!!

02.01.2022 Over the past few months we have been putting our staff through some additional training with an online course in infection control. We really value ongoing learning for our educators and take every chance to provide them with opportunities to expand their knowledge and expertise

02.01.2022 That’s a wrap on another wonderful vacation holiday! Today’s click and collect day being such a great way to end the past two weeks of a fun filled holidays! Next week we are back to before and after school care, so please ensure you’ve got your bookings in. Don’t forget any after school sport activities need a new permission note due to recent policy changes so please ensure these have been filled out and returned. All the staff here at would love to thank all of the child...ren and families for a fantastic holidays! Still due to restrictions in place and no excursions, being stuck at the service each day we have had such awesome behaviour from the children making it such an enjoyable holidays! I’d like to give a quick shout out and thankyou to the staff; - Brittanie - Boaz - Mardi - Tiana - Brianna - Jess - Alyssa - Josh - Emily Without the above and the continuous effort and enthusiasm these educators put in the service wouldn’t be as awesome as it is!
