16.01.2022 Whilst Mondays club night was cancelled due to weather, those who came to collect their numbers were treated to a break in the rain to allow them to learn how to throw a discus! Looking forward to next Monday where club nights will look a little different as we will give participants the choice of learning and training for either a track event/ throw or jumps!

15.01.2022 Was great to see so many parents & helpers assisting tonight with their childs athletics development! Little Athletics offers a unique opportunity for parents and carers to play an active role. Tonights events were Hurdles and Long Jump. 12.01.2022 Was great to have so many parents helping with the sprint events last week; either as starters, place judges, recorders & time keepers. This weeks events will be discus and high jump. The attached event sheets offer some simple tips with how YOU as a parent can assist with the running of the events! See you all this afternoon!

12.01.2022 Whilst we are receiving some much needed rain, unfortunately we have had to make a call to CANCEL tonights club night. With the grounds too wet it is deemed unsafe to complete events. Should you wish to still pick up your numbers and/or have any questions for the Committee about the upcoming season some of us will still be at the track from 5pm. Hope to see you all again next week!!!

11.01.2022 *** Registrations *** Are now open for season 2020/21! Registration is ESSENTIAL per COVID guidelines.... Register now using your active kids voucher; https://memberdesq.sportstg.com/index.cfm Season 2020/21 will have more of an emphasis on education and training with the occasional "PB night" pending parental help. We don't want kids to miss out, please contact the Committee should you be experiencing financial hardship.

09.01.2022 *** REMINDER *** Season 2020/21 starts this coming Monday 19th October from 5pm. With club nights focusing on skill building/ education and training.... Per COVID guidelines registration is essential to participate. Looking forward to seeing you all!

06.01.2022 Due to COVID and the restrictions on mass gatherings, Zone & Regional carnivals were cancelled by LANSW for the 20/21 season. In place of these a qualifying system has been adopted and Littles state qualifying meet will be held in Tamworth on the 30 & 31 January 2021 for 9-12 year olds. To be considered for this meet you must nominate your performances by 31 December. Qualifying standards can be achieved at centre nights. ... Tonights events for athletes to record performances are 70m, 100m & Long Jump with the option of throws. Would be great to have continued support from parents at events to give those the best chance of qualification. Any parent requesting further information regarding the Littles State qualifier please contact the club.
