25.01.2022 Manning Great Lakes Police are warning car owners to ensure that motor vehicles are locked after a string of break-ins.

24.01.2022 Forster customer service team doing their best "Devo" impersonation. Glad they weren't also singing "Whip It".

23.01.2022 FT&T are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper. The position is part time / Flexible hours. Position Commences January 2021. Our books are in the cloud with Quickbooks which allows this position to be a "work from home" position. There will be a requirement to visit the office at least once a week, but the bulk can be done remotely!... If you think you are the person we are looking for, please call in to the Forster office, (1/32 Kularoo Drive) with your resume, one morning in the next few weeks. Ask for John.

20.01.2022 Well that was fun ..... We had the pleasure of being audited by the Security Licensing & Enforcement Directorate this week. Only one minor mistake, otherwise we passed with flying colours!! Ya!

20.01.2022 Don’t host an Easter Egg Hunt for Burglars wait what? Easter is around the corner and half of Australia and New Zealand are about to head off on a short holid...ay. And a small percentage of the other half is just waiting for you to leave your home unattended to go on a little bit of an easter egg hunt themselves. Maybe you think that your belongings aren’t really worth that much to interested burglars. Think again, because it’s not just about the dollar value of your belongings, it’s also about how easy it can be to get in and out of your home. Your $900 tablet or you $500 Xbox might not be of great value, but if it just takes a few seconds to get them they will become an easy target. Check your homes security (and your companies security as well!) every 2-5 years to keep your security technology up-to-date. If you need help ask a qualified master locksmith, visit: www.masterlocksmiths.com.au

20.01.2022 This is a graphic overview of the fires in our area. There are no words that can express the gratitude our town feels for the Firies. You guys and girls are legends.

19.01.2022 We now have a commercial laser engraver. It is capable of engraving virtually any design on almost any surface - including stainless steel. This is primarily for our key production, however if you ask nicely I'm sure we can do short runs for other businesses!

19.01.2022 #NLD2018 National Locksmith Day BBQ lunch - thanks Lockwood

19.01.2022 When is a lock not a lock?

15.01.2022 Finally an answer to that age old question ... "How can I secure a shipping container?" The Kossie Lock is a simple add on to secure the doors on shipping containers. Call in to our Forster Office for more details _ Or to have a look "hands on".

13.01.2022 The search is on for "Forster's Next New Apprentice" Exciting opportunities await our next apprentice! It's not often you get to work in such a beautiful area in a career that could take you through to retirement.... Drop in to our Kularoo Drive workshop, bring your resume and convince us that you are Forster's next new apprentice.

12.01.2022 Yet another late model car towed in with no keys. It's no issue for us to make new keys from scratch, however it would have been much cheaper, and less hassle for our customer, if they'd had a spare key made BEFORE losing the only key!

11.01.2022 Tired of your expensive car key breaking? Ready to replace that shell .... AGAIN ? Bought a new shell on Ebay to find that it is just crap? FT&T have the answer - we stock quality HEAVY DUTY shells for most common keys - we guarantee these will not break with normal use. ... Call in to either workshop and talk to the guys .

10.01.2022 And they thought they’d save some money!!! What’s a new window and tinting worth? Don’t forget that the interior is now covered in glass.

10.01.2022 Been listed before but worth reminding everyone that your home & business security is VERY important and should not be left to an unscrupulous non trades person...

10.01.2022 I think this is the most powerful graphic I’ve seen that really demonstrates the outcomes of Social Distancing. FT&T are following the advice of our Government and have closed our shops to walk in customers. All office staff are now operating from home and the technicians are only doing home visits. PLEASE NOTE - the road guys are being very very cautious with both their own hygiene, and the hygiene of our customers. If you are in Quarantine BECAUSE you have had contact w...ith a possible CV carrier, WE WILL NOT VISIT. If you are in Lockdown BECAUSE you have the sniffles, WE WILL NOT VISIT. During these trying times, FT&T staff are trying to do their best, sometimes their best may not seem acceptable to you - if so please have a look at this graph again. No one knows how to work through a Pandemic - we can only try our best. On a personal note: I’d like to thank my staff for a fantastic can do attitude. Remote working will have it’s teething problems - I know that FT&T will survive this. See You all on the other side

10.01.2022 Beware .... This is happening in Australia too - do your homework before calling a Scammer.

09.01.2022 About time these guys were outed. By the way, Contrary to what the scammer says, in NSW you DO NEED a Security Licence. I believe it is also required in Qld where this report comes from.

07.01.2022 Couldn’t resist posting this beautiful pic. Sunset on the way home! We live and work in a great place.

07.01.2022 There is so much truth in this...........

05.01.2022 How to fit the Stainless Steel flat hasp to a power box. This is an instructional video for Essential Energy Staff.

05.01.2022 We see this often. Particularly when it’s a complete key with remote. Most of the world uses a different frequency for remotes than Australia, so when you buy a Chinese key it is probably designed for the bigger market - USA. Different frequency, and No, we can’t fix that. FT&T spends considerable time and money researching what does and doesn’t work. Then we spend big dollars to have these solutions available - Off The Shelf. ... More money is invested in machinery to cut and program your extra car key. The average car key ($149) is made using over $40,000 worth of equipment and years of experience - ultimately that is what you are paying for.
