24.01.2022 UPDATED: VISITING HOURS AT FORSTER PRIVATE EFFECTIVE 8 JANUARY 2021. We are updating our visiting hours to given the recent changes in our community. We have to be stricter but we do understand how important it is to be supportive of family and friends. No patients or visitors who reside in Northern Beaches and Greater Sydney LGA postcodes (or who have been to hotspots) will be admitted or allowed on site except in the case of an emergency or where treatment or care should no...t be delayed. PLEASE NOTE important COVID-19 guidelines will remain in place for your safety and ours. If you have been COVID tested in the last 24hrs and you DO NOT have your results YOU MUST stay isolated until you have your negative results. Please stay isolated if you continue to have symptoms and only come to visit patients if all symptoms are gone. Hospital Visiting Hours have been reduced to; - Monday to Friday between 12pm - 1pm & 4pm - 5pm - Saturday & Sunday between 12pm - 2pm - Patients may have TWO visitor per patient per day (exceptions on a case-by-case basis e.g. end of life approved by the hospital executive and all exemptions will be reviewed every 48 hrs) - Visitors under 16 years can be in addition to the one adult visitor, but no more than two at a time - Visitors under 12 are not required to wear a mask - Special circumstances will be considered for family members of palliative and end of life patients We thank you for your support as it is our priority to ensure the safety and welfare of our patients, visitors and staff. #ForsterPrivate #BestPractices #PatientSafety #Healthecare
