FTO Pet Sitting caters for those sudden, last minute 3-9 days when you urgently need to get away for business, a family/personal emergency or when the moon & stars align and you can actually take a rare leisurely escape from the property or house ~ if you have someone to look after the ‘menagerie’! Aimed at hobby farm property owners with difficult to kennel animals, multiple-pet owners and fur-babies requir...ing extra care due to age, illness, stress or separation anxiety. In relation to cost, it depends on what you need. Size, medications, vaccinations, registrations, special requirements have no add-on fees. Keep in mind, one large dog is around $45pd to kennel on a weekly rate. More for medication, short stays or public holidays! All I ask is please do not put me or others into a dangerous situation or quarantine risk environment ~ thank you It’s $40pd for up to three regular animals (12 chooks; 1-2 ea sheep, goats or pigs; 2-3 indoor caged birds; fishtank = 1 animal) - a dog, a cat & chooks would be 3 regular animals. Up to 5 animals add $15pd. Not each - and when there’s more than 6-8 I’ve got a negotiable ‘menagerie’ charge of $10pd. I do occasionally do longer term if it’s needed. Horses & cattle are not my forte, however with clear instructions I’m pretty good - up to 2 of either is 1 animal - and I have cared for horses requiring supplements and feed preparation in the past few months. I’m not a ditzy thing and have done sits requiring supplemental feeds, mixing supplements into feed and hand/bottle feeding. I am negotiable depending on needs and an open to negotiation depending on situations and circumstances. Truly I am. Sometimes people need flexibility. Personally we have 2 dogs, 2 cats (Ted is 18yrs), 18 chooks, a few pigs & piglets, a few sheep & lambs and have had goats, cattle, birds and some ‘things’ considered creepy-crawly in the past. I’m also pretty handy in the garden Horses and cattle - while not greatly experienced - feed, lock up, check on, identify something is not quite right and with clear instructions I’m fine. I have multiple horse owners friends and hubby works on a dairy. I have hand fed lambs, cared for day to week old chicks, piglets & kittens. I can hand remove ticks, lice and if I have to worm or drain, might look at danger money or really good champagne! Let me know if this will help you. I am not available Christmas/New Year. Minty and Calvin either don’t want me to go or want to have a weekend away!! I do love the relationship I get to form with so many animals.
